We now begin the work on our new trunk setup
One thing I never really addressed is the “In Car Entertainment” portion of our GS400. I had a really simple sub box and one amp to power the subs. Its something I always wanted to do so why not. Lets try something a bit different. We went ahead and ordered the new sound components and I picked up the TVs finally. I couldn’t make up my mind on how I was going to incorporate video into it. I went from one 24″ to 1 19″, then 2 19″, and at last we added a 3rd 19″. I have the car being worked on by Carlin and Norm at Impact Performance in San Francisco, CA. We decided to do something NOT too crazy but something I can be happy with. This is just a blog post to show that we have started for me to document the build. I don’t believe in teasers, I’ll show you what we are doing as updates come in. There’s really nothing to hide, its just the trunk of my car. Our goal is to have this trunk done by SF Wekfest in late February 2011. We will keep updating VSC as time goes on. Until then, at least all the old Air suspension setup is gone, the Air Runner tank and plate is in its temporary home, and all the trunk panels are gone.
So we gotta try to figure out how I can fit these 3 along with the Air tank, 3 subs, and 2 amps…
into this…
let the fun begin!

John, I’m looking forward to seeing your trunk set up. I’m still trying to figure out what to do for my trunk lid.
Thanks Chris! I’ve changed what I am going to do with my trunklid about 100x! I bet that by wekfest, I still won’t have my mind made up.
