Questions about front end choices

[I]Ok guys and gals I've been looking at diffrent whys to make the Q look better and stand out more .So at 1st i thought about a nice clean body kit ...but some of those have a very high price tag and right now i cant affored to spend money on something like that .I found some cheap not realy "VIP" type one's but they werent realy my cup of tea. So as i look around this fine site i noticed some very nice looking "stock" Presidents or Cedric's and so on . Is it possible to swap out the front ends to make mine look like that or should i just leave it and wait till the funds are in order and go for the body kit .[/I]
 
[I]So heres my question or questions [/I]
 
[I]1) What front end is what ( pics would help) President ,Cedric,Cima ? [/I]
[I]2) What is the major diffrence between those fronts (again pics would help)?[/I]
[I]3)Who should i talk to when ready to order ? On site venders with a good seller rateing is a + ?[/I]
[I]4) Are these fronts basicly a bolt on type deal (if not what do i need to do )?[/I]
5) I've seen Elpresidenty(sp) selling some parts prices seem fair but what should i look to pay ?
 
I know i'm new here and some ppl look down on me cause i have a million and 1 questions but this is realy the only way to learn and to be able one day provide other ppl who have the same questions answers in the future .

what year Q do you have?
 
By the time you order the front end (hood,grill,bumper,foglights possibly fenders) and ship it you will probably be looking at close the same cost as an aero kit. 
 
My suggestion is save until your ready to buy what you want. Wide N Low styling  gets expensive and you really need patience in this game. Rather than just doing things for now for the immediate gratification just save and buy what you really want. No one is going to hate on you because you don't have aero..As long as your stance and fitments is sick that's the main thing if you want folks respect and attention. All the other stuff is cherries bro...

ive seen a g50 president swap in progress and it was a ton of money and not really straight bolt on.
i wouldnt bother unless youre knowledgable about body work or have a good shop in mind.

Thanks guys i think i will just wait and save up n get it lo lo . As far as having some body knowledge my father used to do body work and i have tried my hand at it so i know a lil bit and have some friends that do it for a liveing .But as far as knowing a good shop to do the work i'm kinda new to the area that i live in so just trying to get the word of mouth from diffrent ppl to make my decision a lil better . 
 
Oh and Zion the avatar pic if thats you car it looks sic . And the car that i have is a 94 base so just saving up and making my wish list to order most of the stuff needed thanks guys .

A President front end swap costs more then a body kit. Just save up for the kit you want or for the front end. Do what makes you happy.
 
Edit, I thought you had a G50 (90-96)  There is no president front end for the 97-01 since the President used the same body from 90-01.

^^Thanks  dawg,,,Good luck on that though because I had to buy mine new..ITs the most popular grill in Japan and folks sell there zenki and get these the kouki grill..Thats why you see them more often on US cars..
 
I have seen them on Yahoo every once in a while though.

Yeah right now with being broke the 94Q is gonna take some money to get her back to her pptential untill then the body kit /front end dream is on hold . This post was to get an idea about cost and what was involved in the process of swaping fronts . Thanks for the info everyone posted . Enjoy your weekend Erik

Well that does look good it reminds me a the magnum .

^ no, please dont say that lol.  My car was made long before the Magnum was even ever on the drawing boards.  Magnums are ugly.

Just the grill is what i was thinking the rest looks good . But keep up the good work .
