thoughts on 20 inch wheels

just would like your thoughts on 20 inch 3 piece wheels with a low offset for a gs. i am stuck between 19S OR 20S. i am so used to big wheels. i was wondering if it is looked down on. this is a pic when i had 22s on one i used to own. i know its gross that high. but that was over 3 years ago, my taste has changed a lot. and these are the wheels i am thinking of using. they are diseno forged and it is my friends company. what do you think

i think 20's on a gs is fine as long as the car sits low enough. :)  i have 19's right now and its starting to look too small sometimes. i think 20's would be perfect.

Yeah 20 on gs's looks good. Just when you get your new wheels get some lowering spring.

thats what i thought, once you look at 19s when you can go 20s they start to look small in a couple weeks. what springs do you suggest, i was thinking coilovers

I think 20's would look fine, but please not those wheels, I think you could find something far more attractive to go on there.

20's are accepted but 19's will allow you to get even lower.  You cant slam the car to the earth on 20's unless your tucking some rim.  Good luck

i dont mind going lowwwww.. which brand wheels would you suggest in a 18. im not too familiar with whats avail. in 18 inch sizes. like i said i have always had big wheels. i appreciate your help

I agree with you widebody_Q looks like a knock off TrafficStar (lol). I think if you have the correct stance 20's can work perfect.

Just hit up the vendors for prices.  Save for what you really want the first time around :biggthumpup:

yeah the Leon Hardritt waffe are some nice wheels imo, Weds BVillens XXR are always nice.

I think going from 22s to 18s is going to be too much "shock" to your system. You may not like them, plus drivability goes to crap if you slam it down to make the 18s look right.

That's just my humble opinion. Do the 20s, then maybe step to 18s after you're acclimated to driving low to the ground.=)

that was my car like 3 years ago , i have a maserati on 20s now and want to be low , so i will go with 18s prolly , im used to a crappy ride. thanks for all the help

didn't say that it felt bad dude. :slap: lol, jk.

I said drivability goes to crap when you're super low. Getting stuck on speed bumps and limiting the places you go, driving catercorner into plazas at 2 miles per hour going against traffic. Driving a few of my cousin's cars for a few weeks drove me batty especially since i wasn't used to driving really low, you can forget and tear up your car. Maybe i just suck at life LOL.

I've pretty much steered clear of slamming cars for those reasons. But if that's what floats your boat have at it because it [I]does[/I] look really cool from outside the car.
