Things that grind my gears!
So yesterday I had to go and buy some dog food at a local pet store. Its located right next to university, so naturally parking is a bitch and the lot thats in front of the store has 5 spots, 3 of which are for handicapt people...
Since I already know what I needed to buy and there were no regular spots available, I took one handicapt parking space. 1 minute later I walk to the cash register just to see a parking lady standing in front of my car writing me a ticket and all the employees watching her do it. I ran out to tell her that I am leaving right now...to which I got "too bad...tell it to the judge", she then proceeded to put a ticket on my window and started writing another one for a grandma who probably forgot to put her handicapt sign on the mirror (she parked same time I did and walked out with a walker). As I get inside the store to pay for the dog food, the clerk has the nerve to say "I bet this is the most expensive dog food you bought...look on the bright side...you can save $2 on your next purchase". He also told me that parking lot right next to the store belongs to them and its free even though they have a machine set up to pay for the spot and there's a huge sign with prices on it...he said there's a sign that says parking for Petco customers is free. I've been going to that store for the past year and have yet to see that sign.
At first I though fine...I'm a dumbass for parking there, I'll just pay the ticket. Turns out the fat bitch gave me a ticket for no front license plate, I bet she burned 5 calories walking to the back of my car to write down the plate number...that was $40 (will zip tie a plate, take a pic of it and show it to the judge), and the parking ticket was $250!!! WTF!? Especially since I was there while she wrote the ticket!

Moral of this story. Don't park in Handicap spots.
I never do, it's just not worth getting a ticket.
GL to you.

I know....this is the first time I've done it in 9 years that I've been driving a car. I am not even that mad about getting a ticket (I parked where I shouldn't have parked...simple as that) as I am mad at the responce I got from the parking lady, and clerks at PetCo rubbing it in and not informing me when i walked into the door that they have additional parking 30 feet away from where I parked. Instead 3 of them watched me walk in, then had smirks on their faces as I was getting a ticket and then had the balls to make a joke about it.
I will go back to that store and take pictures of the sign that says "additional parking"...or at least verify that it's not there, and I am planning on writing a complaint to the manager of that store...I was not too happy to have some kid give me crap about ME getting a ticket and other two employees laughing at his 2 minutes of standup comedy.

Yeah man those handicap spots are for those who need it. Sounds like your probably in great shape reffering to the cop as a fat ^$#&$* so obviously you could have walked a bit..Petco has carts for the walk back.
Parking people have to deal with this types of things all day. They proably get spit at, cussed at and more on a daily basis. THey here excussess as to why.. The petco people were beeing asses but If I was behind you in line I would have said something along the lines is Thats what you get fool..next time don't think your so special..My grandmother had to park far away from a store one time becuase something like this happend. She just had surgery and was using a walker..Took her nearly 10 min to get into the store..I would have walked the same distance in 1-2 minutes max..She then saw a young man run out of the store jumped into the car and almost backed into to her then sped off...When she told me that I was like WTF did you get plates or make and modle of the car..but that was not on her mind but she did say there was no handicap plates...So not beeing an ass to you but God is disepling you in his own ways...
One thing I have to say is " You know your to low when you cant park in a handicap spot"...................................J/k All the petcos around here have crazy speed bumps in the parking lots or plazas so I could not make it to a handicap spot in my car....:smiley-rofl:
VIP in this case would have saved you some heart ache..
Just figth the ticket and tell the judge you had a handicap person with you and they forgot their parking thing that hangs from the mirror and show your plate on your bumper and DONT DO THIS AGAIN..

I wouldn't get pissed off period like you said since it would have been my fault for parking in the wrong place, and to that kid I just would've said...."oh well whatever just one less box of cigars for me I guess" or my favorite "that's not that bad just one less bottle at the club for one night" hahahahahahaha

Thats really messed up! At this petco there are no speed bumps, and I think I have seen 1 car with handicapt sign park there. This is the closest one to my house, so thats why I go to it...but since its located right next to University of washington....you pretty much can't find a single parking space within 2 mile radius and every single parking lot is paid. It just bumbed me out to get a ticket same day I ordered my kit, and a week after I booked my vacation...this ticket could pay for all Coronas, Tequila and hookers in Mexico! Oh and the parking lot next door....I got high centered pulling in on my Q a while back haha.

Zion tells the truth.
Tucson is Old folk and Truck lovin friendly.
Speed Bumps, Sky curbs, and Handicap Spots all over.
I have gotten used to parking a distance away to avoid speed bumps.

If they had an area for loading, you could have tried the double park method. Make your purchase then have them hold on to it whilest you get your car. Quick in, quick out!
