NBA MVP: whos going to win it and why?

Here is my top 5 in order
5)Dwight Howard. 
4)Kevin Garnett
3)Chris Paul
2)Lebron James
1)Kobe Bryant
 
Howard is a Beast.  Hes playing like Shaq in the early-mid 90's before he got chubby.
 
Garnett would be in the top two on my list but I feel he missed a few too many games to be ahead of any of the others in front of him.
 
Chris Paul is doing what Nash was doing the years he won the MVP so he deserves to be up there especially since his team is #1 in the difficult west
 
Lebron is putting up hall of fame numbers but . . .
I give the slight edge to Kobe since his team has a better record and he is doing it in the west.  No one expected the Lakers to be better then the 7th seed in the west before this season started.
 
Mcgrady, Duncan, D.Williams would be next on my list in that order

why?  they carry their team on their shoulders.  I'm not so sure about bryant.  the team carries him on their shoulders lol

Kobe.  He's really upped his game this year and been a real team player.

I wouldn't put Kobe in the top 3 though, it's Gasol who has stepped it up for them, Kobe is Kobe and he'll do is thang where ever and when ever

I WOULD LOVE to see Chris Paul get it! That kid is ballin this year!

He had 20 assists last game and he set up West for a open jump shot to win the game and send Lebron home with a L

Kobe should get it. cause even with a fracture finger, hes still playing like an allstar.

Yeah.  IMO Kobe is a warrior, and I never really liked him, but I have sooo much respect for his mentality and game.

Kobe hasn't exactly complained about it.  It's not just broken either, it needs surgery.

Alls I know is Kobe besta not get another technical for the next 10 games or he's suspended for 5 games!!
