Air to Coilovers

havent posted in ages, been playing with my ucf21 a bit

now, I am sick of the stock air sus and the fact that the datasystems controller is maybe buggy. I set it on setting 5 and sometimes it drops it and shit, so fuck air suspension

what coilovers can you get for UCF21?

Im having trouble finding much on the net, Ive looked on lextreme and shit too


any links or the like would be appreciated

Jic's are probably your best bet dude.

Unless you want cash money out your ass baller coilovers.

JIC FLT-A2's. No complaints with mine except I cant drive anywhere because its too low... but thats may fault =) Thats why im taking out the springs and putting bags on my JIC's.
 
They ride perfect, i was amazed :biggthumpup:
 
OR, since you'd be paying about $2000 for the JIC's, you could save up a little more and just get shocks and UAS air bags. I would have went that way if I didnt have my JIC's already

so if I get shocks and UAS bags, I have to install it all and run wires etc?


are there any air struts that would just fit straight in place of stock air sus, that could run off my datasystems controller still and stock compressor?

Yes youll have to run the air hoses and wiring for the compressors, etc.

when I ditch the air, do I just straight swap the coilovers or do I have to remove heaps of shit?

I heard D2 and K=sport are the same thing. Your best bet is Yokota's Lock Smice at least you know those are excellent quality coilovers.

well if i get cima and will be able to do it up before october(thats when autosalon is aye?)then yes im keen as!
well coilovers are pretty much sorted for cima.mags gna be a bit harder to get.but i know people at dswholesalers so maybe they can help me out with some low offset 19"
btw its gna be hard to get some vip rides.
my mate is getting 7 series beema soon,but that wont be really vip for sure.
chch autosalon would be better cause of bling bling dealership,as they do import some vip rides.
suxx that vip culture isnt big enough in NZ.people got mad props but no one builds any...

yea dswholesalers are good, i might go in and grab those small dish 20's when i have a bit more money and sell my rims on trademe, or else go for something insanely dished but that means i have to run spacers etc cos they wont clear the brakes at the front

definately have to have 19s or 20s on a cima otherwise 18s will look small

going 19x9 front and 19x10 at the back with prob +15-20 offset, i want it to be low,prob 70-80mm of the ground.
you should get these,good offsets for celsior,might need a spacer to make it flush.

yeah i bought 2 sets of mags from dswholesalers 2 years ago.they good guys and got very good prices.

yeah ur car will look sick on these slammed on adjusties.have you seen celsior just like yours cruising around kohimarama?its white slammed on 19's.looks dope!i know his old mags were 19x8,5 front and 19x9.5 at the back and offset +35 and looked like perfect fit to me

mine are 18/8.5 on front and 18/9.5 rear and about that offset

mine tuck heaps though, need some spacing and tire stretch
