so are you thinking pull/flare or widebody? either way, if you can make it work it will be a sight to see.

Agreed. Hsiang, jack the wheel up so we can see how it looks as if the wheel was under load!
Good luck man, good luck because that's going to be torture to get it to fit correctly. EVEN IF you get your camber situated, your toe-in is going to be horrible.:pat:

jack it up... picks are on the way... :)
here they are.....
so far this is all factory camber. still could add about 1 degree or so but that wont do anything..
the edge of the lip is 2.125 inch from the fender. from what i understand i need a little more then 6 degree of camber to get it fitted with out any more body work. how i am getting the camber is still being worked out.

almost there...cut some aftermarket/stock arms and reweld them if you want to camber the rest of the way...
if i were you...stop pulling and cambering...cut off the radius of the quarter, weld up a thin 2" extension and then reweld the stock quarter...some light body work, repaint...done...
if you really want it to flow with the stock bumper, take a heat gun and heat up the edge of the bumper and pull it out to match the quarter...take a squirt bottle and spray water as soon as you get the bumper where you want it...it will 'lock' it up and be sturdy...
imo, you can only camber and pull so much before you lose the 'stock' look and appears flat out broken...
on a side note, i would put a piece of 2x4 between the jack and the rim to spread out the load and cushion the metal on metal contact you have with the jack and the rim...
goodluck!

not as bad (good) as it looked...
a little more camber and you're there. i agree that more than a certain amount of camber looks bad but you're not there yet.

I never knew the bumper can be re-molded, pretty cool. thats something i may be looking more into if i do a larger pull. i am leaning towards try to do the camber route and see how that works.
do you have any pictures of cars that have the radius cut and extended?
for the jack i used a piece of half inch rubber pad about 2in x 2in wide. didnt have 2x4 laying around but i think it works the same. hopefully.

nope, no pics...just an idea i had...you can also cut slices in your quarters and make them like pie shapes and fill the gaps with either welds or small pie shaped plates...someone with a maxima did that i think...
thats cool...don't wanna see you damage your rims...

since the GS is so popular, don't they make blister type wide body fenders for the GS? IMO wide body would probably be your best choice, and will also improve your current rolled pulled lip look.

Im not a fan of poking on big vip cars. It makes the wheels stick out too much and that takes away from the overall look of the car.

It's one thing to buy wheels and then make them fit under stock fender. Wide body is cheating!
But Hsiang, it's ok, I won't count the pull against you if you can still make it fit under the stock fender.

Its cheating if you use fiberglass flares. If you use the original metal from the stock fenders with no fiberglass, then I dont see that as cheating. That takes lots of skills to pull it off correctly.

Honestly, I'd need to know wheel specs first whether to recommend a more stretched tire or not. That looks like only a mild stretch imho, but we need closer pics to help distinguish this.

WHERE'S THE CAMBER?
i hope that 285 is on a 13"...haha
if it's a 12"...go with 265...i put a 275 on mine and could have gone narrower...
you're not gonna get them to fit without doing fender work...plain and simple...
and even with camber and more stretched tire, you'll still need ~1.25" of pull...

Narrowest I've ran on 12's was 235/40/18 just in case you wanted to know. I probably wouldn't go that narrow again for a daily driver, 245/40/18 is good.
If they're narrower than 11.5's you should be running 225's.

Guys, keep in mind that the wider the wheel, the harder it is to get it to camber unless its deep into the negative offset range. When the wheel is taking up so much space, its hard for it to move on an angle unless your lower control arms are longer.

Ahh very true .. Stretching is the key here ! as well as having better options with body work
