Looks like a primered top to resemble a rag top. Interesting.
waste of a nice 20
man, that does look like a drop top:koolaidwall:
phantom top...hella old school
I was going to say... I remember those from my old lowrider mags. Was trying to remember the name, till i saw that Em had already identified it!
my neighbor has a black ucf20 with a black cloth top like that and gold rivets (or screws...) Its owned by an old white guy, and its ugly as all get out. (btw- I am a young white guy so no racism is intended!)

I remember those old school tops. With the lowriders you would see them on damn near everything I remember civics with those tops.
Back in the days (late 80's), in D.C. all the dealers rides had the rag top. From the "money green" Jettas to the Benzos, it was all about the "hammer wheels" and rag tops.
There a UL LS430 around my area like that

I saw a few Nissan Altimas running around. One brown the other silver Both with landau top conversions and vogues...

Ew, SimCon's are ugly. We used to put tons of them on when I worked at a Buick dealership........ so that just about tells you everything.
god damn thatts horrible thats not the worst there is some old guy here in vegas WITH AN LS430 with a 'phantom top' and that shit is uggly! it even has white wall tires with the stock wheels... really bad
All it needs now is some D's......
This shows weird people are a worldwide problem... We have crazy spinner hubcaps on 12 inches tires roun here! LOL No phantom top playaz though...
I have a phantom top playa around my neck of the woods....or i rather say, phantom top ricer. 92ish White civic sedan with a attempted "Rag" top. He got the rag part on, just that he did it in a really tacky way, and its starting to peal off. And the civic is bone stock all around with dirty white paint.
lol that looks nasty
phantom tops usually led to major roof issues with rust and collecting water under the material....
I vote Ron does it to a 2006 M with some 13" Daytons, switches and a mural on the body....... anybody else second that motion? :smiley-rofl:
