I don't think you were being serious but I will put a pic up just because they did do a fantastic job on those cars.

I like both, I think i fell in love with the Tamon car when I saw the body kit on a custom 4 rotor with a carbonfiber crazy manifold... as far as the $12,000.00 i could think of a lot of other things I would do to and RX7 before I made it look like that.

Re: Familiar with ''New Edge Style''?

They call it complete car tuning. For VeilSide it started with the evolution combat supra (inspiration was george barris) (done in 1996)  Forum image
it later evolved into the 7th Anniversery Supra, redone for the 1997 tokyo auto salon
Forum image. The 99 Fortune Supra is pushing 1000hp, twin turbo, semi sequential tranny, fuel cell in the back (no big stupid speakers) The goal was to push the car to the highest level of tuning. Think of Clark Kent:Superman    It was recently pushed again by Daijiro Inada, former big cheese at Options where his prediction would be total super sports car tuning. For Japan there have been no new high end sports cars like how the 7, and supra were seen for many years. He was thinking that the tuners would take the slack for the lack of new sports cars by remodeling older sports cars. Dai-San was so big time there, that when he spoke, everyone listened.

Re: Familiar with ''New Edge Style''?

I have to admit, it's a very original eye-catching style, but I dont like what they do to the body lines of the Supra. It's like putting too much make up on Halle Berry or something.

Re: Familiar with ''New Edge Style''?

Damn where have I seen that before.

Forum image

well the NSX kit is 30g instaled here in japan. That doesent includ the wheels or muffler.

The fortune FD is about the same but its a lot of work. Fortunatly I helped build both cars for the TAS. So I can knock about 5g off of instalation. The NSX kit is way easier to assemble than the FD becouse all the pannles on the NSX bolt on. The FD requires some heavy modification on the rear.

None of the headlights on either are off of anything. They are molded for that body style and laid up in carbon. The projecters and everything are all hand assembled.
