I'm a little curious in this topic as well! Radius fenders is the only way to rock 20s proper! or 18s for that matter!
^^Whoa. 18s are gonna look hella tiny with radiused fenders. Unless you're widebodyQ and you run like 1/2" off the ground, I don't see it working...
Radiusing in its self will not allow you to get lower, it will just increase your fender gap. The inner fenders must be tubbed to gain clearance so the top of the tire doesnt rub. Just remember, there is no going back once you start cutting. Pay the extra money to take it to a top of the line shop. If they mess up, the fenders will look like garbage. Goodluck :biggthumpup:
Yah, there's no real way to explain it..it's a case by case basis. No two cars will be done the same due to the way the various fenders are constructed and shaped.

Even with 20s, radiused fenders would mean you need to ride close to slammed all the time radiused fenders with 18s: thats the ultimate in slammage. Wont look small because you are redesigning the fender arches around the wheels
I run my y33 on 19s with my tires tucked up in the fender front and rear. Id have to do some MAJOR work to the front upper frame rails and lower subframe to drive it any lower. I guess it just make the car look higher. Looks amazing with 20s or 21s on big body cars that are running as low as i do, but i prefer to have my isht tucking when I roll rather than sitting at the fender.
cut, seperate, cut, bend, tack, weld... like said... its gonna be different for every car.

No two cars will be done the same due to the way the various fenders are constructed and shaped.[/quote] word... all cars are made differently...whenever i get a car, i look at the rear and front fenders to see how i would radius and/or flare them...haha...its weird but i'm hourly so i can waste time like that...anyways, most people only radius their fender .5"- .75" so theres not a lot of inner fender word to do most of the time...you do need to be pretty decent and fabbing metal though...

I'm envisioning (sp?) radiused fenders and 18s to look like the old version of Racinstylez's LS. At (his) ride height, the car looked ok, but layed out, the rims were absolutely dwarfed by the car. Now you're taking a wheel 1" smaller in diameter, and enlarging the fenderwell as well? I don't see that working out too nicely.

Thanks Widebody for clearin that up! :biggthumpup: The key is to go w/ a really wide wheel! w/ proper wheel fitment it won't look small cause of the size of the lip!

I don't see that working out too nicely.[/QUOTE] well those were sunken in and there was no modification to his fenders whats so ever. with proper fitting wheels and the fender mods, it should be a HUGE difference.
