Long time admirer, first time attempt

I knew about and appreciated VIP in its original form, before it evolved into EXE, but for one reason or another I never took the plunge.  My current project is coming to an end, and should grace the pages of Eurotuner soon.

My new project is an E90 335, and I thought it'd be an intriguing concept to create a VIPstyle BMW and blend the two worlds.  Although the current wheel choice isn't ideal, I wasn't properly educated by Denoga (VSC, obviously) or Van (onetongarage) at the time, so they'll have to do for now.  Maybe later on I'll switch to a set of Leon Hardiritt or Locksmice wheels.

No decent kit is readily available for the E90 from any of the prevalent manufacturers - Aimgain, Auto Couture, Fabulous, Junction Produce, Sterling Mac Blick, K-break, Wald, etc. so perhaps something innovative and appropriately VIP will have to be done and I'll have to make my own.

Below are photos of the car as it stands now, and yes I know the fitment isn't perfect.  It needs more camber, lower offset, but I can't go any lower with the Air Runner setup without modifying the struts which I'm not planning on doing unless a kit can't get me low enough.

Vip didn't evolve into exe.  They are two different styles.  Vip in itself has evolved over the years, but it didn't turn into anything..you're just getting the two confused.  

That's a nice BMW btw.  Looks more like a nice Euro than vip though.  BMW isn't normally used in vip.  The only real examples I have seen were 7 series.  But it doesn't mean you can't enjoy trying to make your car vip style.

yeah the platform is too small to be vip.  but it looks real clean. good job :biggthumpup:

Ah okay, thanks for the correction.

I know that BMW isn't usually used in VIP, hence why I thought it'd be interesting to give it a try.  I couldn't afford a larger platform and thought having a twin turbo engine would be good for power since I don't plan on focusing too much on the engine due to past experiences with cops, so I ended up with the 335.

I've had misgivings about my purchase several times, but I've seen K-cars, C and E class MBs, and other similarly sized cars made into VIPstyle platforms, so a 3 series isn't so bad...hopefully I can make you guys proud (without spending too much though, gotta save up for the ring)!
