Bolt On SC or Turbo kit for 1UFZE

I've been browsing on the network but haven't able to find if someone is selling a bolt on supercharger or turbo kit for the 1UFZE V8 in a 1992 Lexus LS400... :(

Is this available somewhere or only onoff modifications is possible??

What maximum boost it's possible to use with stock internals???

Thanks

Sorry if this has been already asked....

There was a company on ClubLexus that was building turbo kits for the UZ series engines, something like $7,000USD.

There are a few places in Australia that are super/turbocharging the UZ series engines. They run about $5,000AUD.

Lextreme is a good place too. The UZ engines can handle a lot of HP, the transmission is kind of weak though. Many people rebuild the internals, more info is on Lextreme.com

Somewhere around 350HP, 400ps, would be safe, and quick.

There was a guy on ClubLexus, that swapped in a 2jz-gte, his name was Retrodrive, but he's nonexistent now....his car was single turbo, pushing out like 600hp, and looked beautiful. Too bad he's not around.

just build your kit. use your own manifold and get the turbo adapter with an internal waste gate and weld that mf. Then make our own mandrel piping with assistance from a good muffler shop for the intercooler piping, get a fuel regulator. A/F gauge , boost gauge and a nice fuel controller like a profec or a apex safc then your set. lol. youll save allot of money. Should be safe unless you go dumb and start getting boosting happy.

Look into SRT. They have done a number of V8 TT setups. I thought they USED to offer some sort of bolt on setup. Check out the project cars section. 700HP Boosted GS400.

I think that engine code is 1uz-fe by the way
