Looks good, but why do you have a cracking dash on such a new car?! I thought that only happened with 15yr old cars!!

Thats what I was saying...I think the previous owner used armor all alot. That stuff kills your car. makes moldings turn white...interiors crack. armor all does the opposite and armors nothing. the cracks started getting worse after last summer...its gross.

Damn that bites! I'm happy my dash is still crack free, even though the car has seen enough sun to turn the rear parcel tray white!

i was thinking the same damn thing... that sucks. honestly i dont like the cover but you got to do what you got to do i geuss. the embroidery looks bad to me because of the spacing and there is really no way they could make a cover for that shape dash look good imo, but i feel you. you had to do something right?

The fact that the dash is cracking, sucks. On my other car, I used rubbing alcohol once and it didnt work out too well on the vinyl.
Couldn't you have dyed the dash?

Can you get some vinyl sheets/synthetic leather & wrap/re do your dash board? I think those shop doing seat covers can do that for you.

On FreshAlloy there's been discussion on this, I guess it's somewhat common on F50 Q/Cima. That sucks, but the mat looks decent. Mine just turned 10 years old this month and dash is perfect.

just so you know that there are vinyl and plastic repair shops that could fix those cracks..my son left the seat belt clip out and closed the door in my car and made a cresent moon shape rip. I had some mobile vinyl repair dude come up out and he fixed it and redied my front and rear seats..Looks awsome..you cant even notice where that happend anymore...this was about 2 years ago and still looks new...
Good luck..

Damn, you have a relatively new car, and the dash is cracked? That's a shame. My 1986 Lincoln has been in my family since new, the dash was always Armor-All'd, and to this day there isn't a crack in it. You sure the Armor-All is to blame?

to be honest that dash cover looks like shit. i think you should put out the money to get a custom made leather one.

Maybe its a Infiniti thing......my Dad owns a 06 FX 35 and his dash started to bubble. Looked hideous so for Father's Day we got him a Dash Cover. Haven't heard of a recall yet....but then again it's not life threatning so I doubt there will be one. It just looked nasty.
+1 on getting a Custom Leather Dash Mat.

yes it did bubble alittle and crack at certain points. Usually armor all fucks things up so I assumed the previouse owner used something of the sort. I know it doesn't look good but it should do for now. I think I'm going to have to call those vinyl repair places and get a few things repaired. thanks!

It could be worse. You still have one of the sexiest wood gain colors available. Pictures dont do it justice IMO

man that sucks... I say dashmat not great looking but it is better than the cracks.
I know old S13s do it alot, but when I saw a couple S14s with cracked sahes I did the same thing and got an ugly dashmat for my 240 =/
cover that bish in suede when you get a chance :D
and for the '06 FX35 with dash bubbling? maaann get that warrantied by the dealer, that is abnormal and it will end up cracking.
I'm not sure what the recipe is for dash cracks, but I have a feeling its a combo of armorall, high heat, summer, closed windows= eventual cracks
