Q about Y33 headlights

The black headlight housings came available on the late model 2nd gen Touring edition(1999) Q45's along with the blackened grill, correct?

I've searched and couldn't get the exact details of what model the darkened grill and headlight housings.

I'm doing some shopping for a Y33 and I ask because I've seen a few '99 Q45's for sale, stating that they are the Touring trim but they have the clear headlight housings and no blacked out grill BUT they certainly have the +99 tails, so I'm a little confused.

the headlights are kind of expensive soooooo what you may be looking at is a car that replaced the orignal equip with the less expensive regular headlights.  I had that problem with mine when i bought it.  i actually had one of each. grrrrrrrrrrr

So am I correct on what models came with the grill and headlights?  All 2nd gen touring models came with blacked out grills, whereas the later 2nd gen touring models had the blacked out headlights?

So if I'm looking at a car advertised as a Touring Model and it has neither of these, then they are either wrong or the front end has been in some sort of accident where they replaced it with the cheaper/non touring headlights and grill?

I haven't seen any of these cars in person yet.  A dead giveaway on whether it truly is a Touring Model would be the in cabin button control for the sport tuned suspension.

Yea if it says touring and is a +99 it should have the sport button and black housing headlights!
Also available on the anniversery edition which some come w/ woodgrain steering wheels and a few have a built in NAVI!
 
I have seen one +99 Q45T w/ the normal lights, but it's rare! I think it may have been an option to have HIDs (Black housing) or else it has been replaced w/ cheaper non-HID lights
