Excessive poke?

to me it looks like that car has been set up for beating down tracks...so that much girth in the rear is probably helpful.  on a strictly street or show car where it serves no real purpose, i'd say it's a bit much.

i hate poke. i'd rather have sunken battleships than poke.

Need Pictures from the front.  Thats the way Ablug kits always make cars look.  A local guy has an Abflug widebody supra and it looks the same from the back, but perfect from the front.

it actually looks fine from the front.  I guess its how the fender just stops right over the tire that makes it look weird from the rear.

Here you go.

It just doesn't look good from the rear. It goes from a widebody, to a stock body bumper...The diffuser is nice, but they could have widened the rear bumper a bit to match up with the rear fenders. Other angles it's not that bad though.

to the front of the car looks good ... Just needs the rear to match up and cover up the huge ass wheels .. IMO

Since that top pic isn't poke, I won't use it as an example.

But generally, if the tread is poking, it's too much, otherwise (sidewall, lip) it's fair game if done right.

With small wheels like 15s on a Euro or Shakotan car, more poke looks more at home, but with low pros, excessive poke doesn't look right.

I personally love that the bottom of my wheels are very visible because of the rounded shape of my car.

the kit is just hideous in general. so are we talkin about the ugly poke or the ugly kit? you pick.

i saw that car and said whoa, then i saw it was from abflug then thought "oh thats normal for them":shrug:

i judge poke by the top of the wheel. top of the wheel flush and bottom exposed is just flush and cambered in my book.

it might be a different rx7, or the same one in different stages, but either way its the same kit. its just too much f0or me, but i'm not all that into sports cars anyway.
