STRETCH TIME

205/40/18 for my front 8.5s and 215/40/18 for my rear 9.5?

what ya reckon?

is it better to stretch lower profile or just go thinner?

anyone used dunlop direzza for stretching?

First off, do you really need all that stretch to fit your wheels?

215 on a 9.5 is pretty extreme from what I've seen/heard.

205/40 will match 215/35 better... 215/40 looks slightly bigger.

35 series on 18s for an LS is way too small. Even 205/40/18 is small, thats 2in smaller then stock. 215/40s front and 225/40 rear. What are your offsets?

i agree, with those widths you shouldnt need a stretch unless youre running 0-negative offsets or large spacers..........

If you dont need that clearance, you should go with a fatter tire. Unless your cool with putting your wheels through extra abuse and having to buy tires at the rate that people get oil changes
