Volvo S60

Hi all, I finally was able to get some pics of my car. These pics were taken about three months ago by a friend and I just got my hands on them. I haven't done much to it besides the body kit, dual exhaust, window tint, 18" rims, and curtains. But within these next few weeks, the car will be lowered, roof spoiler will be added on, and HIDs. Let me know what all of you think of my beloved car...

Custom the front lip, drop it (as you talked to me about), paint the black guards all around, and new wheels. =)

Yeah, as soon as I got the body kit about three years ago I asked the shop which painted the kit and installed it for me if they could paint the moldings but because the texture is not smoothe, the paint will look off. But yeah, new rims are coming up next but it isn't on the top of my list. Right now it is just dropping the car's height. Thanks for the input though.

In regards to those moldings, you just need to find a body shop that is willing to sand the textured moldings down and paint them. I can refer you to someone personally in San Bruno if you need. I thought you were thinking about going air. Correct?

Hmm...sand down the moldings huh??? I never thought about that but I kinda like the black moldings with my car especially since I have the black curtains and the black rims...but maybe when I find white rims that will fit, maybe I'll go completely white. And to answer your question about going air, I defiantly want to go air but at the current moment, there is the annual Volvo show coming up in two weeks in Davis. Time isn't on my side right now...:pat:

I say paint the bumper/door moldings, but leave the black on the sideskirts to match the rims/curtains etc

Damn i wish my gf was into cars like that...

if youre going to leave the sportier rims....id paint the center of the roof black.

but i suspect you're leaning towards a VIPish whip with the curtains...then I'd paint the moldings (sanded) & go with a fuller faced rim

quick chop with moldings 'painted' and black roof....and a lil drop

Yeah, I never thought about sanding the molding but they grew on me. When I first bought the car, I somewhat regretted it...the stupid thing about Volvos is that standard color is black or white and any other color, cost more. But those rims will go, they were just temporary since I got a great deal on them and they were defiantly better than the stock 16" that I was rolling around with for years. I'm thinking of white rims but with my bolt pattern, it would have to be customized...along with everthing else since Volvos don't have a lot of aftermarket stuff.

Elaine what about you take a look at the new Premium White line of CLUB LINEA. Specifically the "L450" model (looks somewhat similar to Work SL). I love the Premium White but I think the L450 in black would look sick. Or the L566. Man I can't decide. Nice wheels.

They do make 19s/20s of the L450 and the L566 are 16s/17s or 20s. Didn't see 19s for L566 but could be wrong.
