What's up fellow VIP car maniacs! This is Hiroshi from San Diego. I recently moved here from Japan - the home of OG VIP pimpin'!! I have owned several VIP cars over the last 15 years. Here is my current ride. It's a 1996 E320 which I brought over from Japan. Lots of mods. I'll list if anyone is interested. Cheers. Hiroshi

You mean the body kit? Not sure really. Basically I got this car "as-is" from the dealer. The only change I made myself was a new stereo install. That's what's so cool about Japan. You can either DIY your own VIP with the endless choices of options and accessories, or go to the hundreds of VIP dealers in Yokohama/Tokyo area and drive off with your dream car (if you got the ca$$$h) already hooked up. I hope this trend carries over to the US someday. Actually, what would be even better would be if ALL the cars sold in Japan were available here - oh but wait we can't do that because the "Big 3" would go out of business overnight. Hiroshi

Yos! Welcome to SD and VSC. We here (in socal) are tryin to stir up the scene as well. However, the price tag is a bit of a hurdle for many....IMO I strongly believe we (the states) need to develope our own products, rather than out source everything...

Oh, sorry but I'm still not sure. They came with the car. Maybe you can't tell from the photo, but the center caps bear the mercedes logo though I don't think they are OEM. Does Carlsson make a wheel like this? Devilok

Maybe, but in order for that to happen 'the industry' needs to recognize VIP cars/owners as a separate subculture of enthusiasts. Every magazine and website I see from the states is dominated by little Hondas! Hiroshi
