LS400 updates...

Just picked up a Canon Rebel XTI and ordered the rest of my WALD kit...

Still experimenting with the D-SLR and learning everything... wheeee!!!

andddd still no time to do much.. gotta clean up the car and actually get the kit matching......anyways pics will explain...

the rear lip looks weird....... isn't it sitting too high? Didn't get any instructions when i purchased it used....

i agree the rear lip sits a little high...looks nice tho , how much did u get it for?

wow. i like it. looks real clean. are you on coilovers? if you are u should lower your rears more.

thanks guys! i purchased the kit for $800 shipped for front+rear lip, skirts and 3 piece spoiler!!! keep in mind its a used wald kit.

ls4 seem like the ideal choice they have such a mean stance esp with some nice wheels, yours looks nice

is the kit progressively uneven? im not trying to bust balls but it looks like the FR lip is the lowest, the side skirts are a lil higher and the RR lip is the highest. or is it just me (or supposed to be like that)

As far as the kit being uneven... i have questioned myself, but they're made by Wald and oddly enough this is how it turns out.....

I'll check around to see other ls400 with the Sportline kit to see if it is similar....

Very nice! The only thing about the Wald kit is the rear piece always seems to get that "wrinkle" by the exhaust outlets. It's almost like they should have made the rear in 3 pcs instead of 1. What are the specs on those wheels?

18x9 215/40/18

Some low offset 19's and a little lower and that thing will be perfect :biggthumpup: At first I wasnt feelin that kit but it kinda grew on me =)

hmm not feeling 19's...

lower offset wider 18's will be better and coilovers in the mix...

but in all it's at daily driver status...

saving up for an ls430 but banks dont want to approve 20k+ to an 18 yr old =(

i got the same kit as yours and i had the same problem. I wish i had a camera to show you mine. I body shop told me that they had to shave some corners on the kit before puttint it on. Might wanna see if that helps

ummm I'm not understanding what you are trying to say...

The kit does not have a problem fitting... it just looks awkard because the rear lip is at the highest point....

What would a bodyshop need to shave??:runcoold:

they shaved the corners inside the kit alittle bit. that way you can fit it lower

ahhhh ill see when i take it to the bodyshop!!!

thanks bro yea kal is a cool dude!  do you have any plans for your exhaust?

right now its just a muffler delete... you can see it if you look reaaal close at the rear end picture...

as far as it goes... I'm planning to do 2.5 inch straight piping from the cat back to (4) 3inch tips...

those are the plans for exhaust!!!

I'm looking into air bags or coilovers next... ahhh the decisions!!
