Wheel repair

Hey guys,

I wanna kind of restore my old wheels and sell them dirt cheap.

20x8.5 TSW Carltons, Hyper Black, Polsihed and clear coated lip.

I got some cheap discs over the fall that were supposed to be EBC brand but I highly doubt they were. I understand that discs get rusty but this happend over night and I didnt even drive the car after I put them on. Eventually I started giving up on things and I decided I was due for some new wheels in the spring so I just let go of things and left the wheels on all winter.

Now what ever crappy Zinc coating was on the discs came off and covered the rear wheels lip in this layer of crusty crap that I cant get off.

Any have any suggestions or a link to a site with a good DIY. I am figguring the hell with it and start sanding with a fine grade and try to get a brushed look=) but Im not sure if that would work the way I see it.

Any pics needed could be taken in a few hours when I get home from work.
