fitment questions

since im here on vip 101 just thought i'd get some help and learn more about offset. just wanna get some picture examples of negative offsets and positive offsets thanks.

better to understand the basics of offset rather than see pics of wheels and try to buy something that matches. offset is off the centerline of the wheel. + offsets mean the mounting pad is on the outer half of the wheel, - offsets are on the inner half of the wheel.

thats cool, i couldnt think what to post b/c you can have low offsets and still not have much lip
like heres a set of Works i have. theyre 18x8/9 +0 offset on all 4 but have little lip, thats b/c they have hi disks

no. as demonstrated above, rim width and disk have as much of an effect on lip as offset.
