anyone here use these LED tail lamps for LS430 ?

this is for the 01 to 03 LS430.

some people on clublexus are having issues with warning lamp light coming on. Just wondering if anyone else is having issues here on VSC.

Get it jimmy and tell us how that work out. I'm gonna keep my Ls430 now so maybe I wanna try it out too.

You will need to weld a resistor on to keep the warning light from coming on.

ok thanks. I just put them on and now my tail lamp failure light has come on. 

everything works fine , it's just the warning light that sucks. 

the resistor pack now connected via some kind of pin connector, it doesn't seem to be loose in any way.

Yeah my buddy has them, same thing. resistor popped or something, so the taillamp failure is on.

same issues. need to find new resistors. not a big concern at the moment...as they work fine, jus annoying exclaimation mark and tailamp failure reading.  got other shet to worry about.

Ebay taillights... Sooo VIP =). I bet they would look sick on.

Just pull the tail light warning bulb. Putting in resistors negate any energy savings you get from having LED tails.

ya I'm kinda skeptical on it's long term longevity.

Here's a pic of some people who have these on clublexus. so far the only downside is the lamp failure warning light in the dash. I guess I'll use these until they crap out on me, then it's back to the original lamps.

They are a good alternative to the JP tails or the 04-06 tails.

ok guys tail lamp warning light now gone. 

the two extra resistors have different connection pin sizes ! I feel like an idiot !!!:pat:


however it's just a matter of time when the resistors blow IMO.

the recent sets for sale on ebay are the revised, updated versions with 4 resistors (compared to 2 resistors on the older sets). 

4 resistors, 2 for the upper inner housing attached to trunk  and 2 for lower inner housing attached to trunk.

the older sets only came with two resistors, one for both the upper and lower portions. this would not last too long and would blow in about a month triggering the tail lamp warning light.

technically the entire set has 8 resistors, but you don't 4 of them because they are inside the housings of the outer lamps attached to quarter body.

its not like a 2gs, theve got a little screen at the bottom of the odo, that actually reads "tail lamp failure" on top of that whit the exclamation point as well :p

pretty sick shit bro, how do you know its the newer updated set? does it say with more resistors or something?? btw what happen with the q i haven't seen it? and i didnt know you got an LS@@!!

the older sets only came with 2 resistors total, one for each side upper and lower inner housing attached to trunk. A lot of people got these a while back and were throwing warning lights after a month of usage. I'm assuming the resistors couldn't handle the load.

it's the newer set because I just got them a few days ago from recent shipment (I'm assuming). They were sold out for a few months.

i have a set just never put them on. i think mine have four resistor packs

when did you get your set ? good thing u have 4 of them.

Can you post up the back side of the tail lights, and the resistor packs so we can start working on a fix for the older style taillights?
