It's bascially a rag top...think of it was the car is white and jus the roof part is wrapped in leather...

Basically another name for a false Landau Top. They're either vinyl or fabric. Don't know why the old fogies love them so much, but it's pretty much a prerequisite on Cadillacs and Lincolns. Retrofits on all kinds of cars nowadays though.

OOHH...they look good on period correct Caddy's, not right on the LS430. CHop top would be diffferent though...

yeahh old peeps love the "carriage tops" for whatever reason, prolly most popular on Lincolns and Cadi's, but have seen them on everything these days, even a hyundai sonata

Not feelin it on the white, but I think if it was black or even a charcoal color it would look very mafioso.

Speaking of which I think I saw a new ES330 the other day with one on, wasn't feeling it though.:shrug:
