I took mine out but want to put one back in because it looks a little tacky!
But then I couldn't ride as low and now that I think about it I can't because my fender is rolled so the tab that holds it is gone! FUCKIT!

That kind of typing makes my head hurt..haha. I always take them out or trim them if it can just be trimmed. Most these days aren't held on with many fasteners, so I usually just remove them completely.

I took mines out before but I got frustrated when my door jams became real dirty.so I recently put it back and folded it in the fender and trimmed it.but soon its gonna have to come off again."rolling fenders"

I cut mine off. It constantly rubbing if it's on.
There's another way though. Raise it up alittle.
Use a heat gun and slowly push it upwards. Slowly do it. It should stay there then.

The car is looking real nice. I would just mold it if you want to keep it in there.

I had problems with mine rubbing on the top part of the liner. I cut the top of it out. I left the front and rear part of the fender liner, where there were screws to hold it in.

your english is fine :) it was the "TyPiNg LiKe tHiS"
they're saying to heat the fender liner up with a heat gun and then press it up further into the wheel arch.

I ran into this same problem. I also had to cut my front fenders to fit my wheels without running extreme negative camber.... of course when I did this, I lost the tabs that hold the top of the fender liner in place.... so here is my solution:
I tried a heat gun to try to mold the fender liner "upwards" and out of the way but to no avail. So instead, I took a dremel and cut out the "top third" of the fender liner. What I mean by "top third" is, if you look at the liner as a whole, and then divide the liner in thirds, I got rid of the "top third" or "middle third" whichever way you look at it.
I did this so that I could still have the appearance of a fender liner, as well as the protection of the fender liner. I then took self-tapping screws and drilled in the loose liner to the frame of the car. Works like a charm. I now have the appearance of my fender liner, but without the noise and the rubbing.
The only thing that you will need to be concerned about is any wiring that will be exposed. I had some wiring on the driver side of my 2GS, but I simply pulled it off its clips, then hid it away and under some metal, and then covered it in Guerilla Tape. Certainly not the most professional approach, but again it does the trick.
Sorry for my mental imagery in describing this process..... I don't claim to be a poet. :)

When I look underneat the fender.. All I see the front tires touch the outer fender liner and the arc metal piece in the front bumper area.. I want a damn metal piece off but I dont know what the hell is the metal piece for..

My front fender liners are gone- same thing, when I pulled the fenders and cut the lips off there was nothing left to hold the outer top edge of the liner up. I have new liners and I may plastic-weld little tabs/extensions on them to catch the small amount of lip still on the front fenders for support.
With 20s and the car lower now you can barely see in there, so it's not horrible looking without them. I don't drive the GS in the rain anyway, so it stays pretty clean in there.

I'd recommend trimming it if you could, I trimmed mine, still rubs on occasion, but not half as bad as it used to be, plus it keeps the fender wells looking clean and simple

Today I took my ride at work.. I was carefull look under the fender and find what cause the rubbing.. The upper fender liner has minimum rub which is dont bother me.. The front bumper which is the part that hold and I use plier to bend the metal.. Then cut the plastic liner where rub from.. Viola, there are no rubbing at all..

i tossed mine the first month i had it. just because i remember the frustration with my 240 and keeping up with it. once you go low, youll eventually gut it. why not just save the headaches and get rid of it first time around.
cons of this is it will get dirtier, but its the underside where people done usually see anyways.

Chris,
I will be sure to take pics the next time I'm underneath there. I just got the car back from the body shop, where they cut the front fender edges, mildly stretched and re-inforced with fiberglass..... maybe a lil over the top, but its peace of mind.=)
While I'm writing this, I'm running about -2 degrees of camber in the front and -2.5 in the rear. I could benefit from about 1 more degree of negative camber in the front...... how do I go about this?
This is a 98 GS4 for those of you wondering.

You lower the car more. You can't adjust the camber in our cars passed the stock specs. Are you running RCA's? if not, then don't worry why I mentioned them.
I don't think they have camber plates for the GS, though I might be wrong.

They don't have camber plates for the GS
I thought there was a way to maybe extend the lower control arm or something that would help in creating just a little more negative camber... the best I can do right now is -2 and I want to lower it just a lil more.... something like 1/8-1/4 inch, but I would feel better if I could get a lil more negative camber.

Why do you want more negative camber?
And you are thinking of Roll Center Adapters. They allow more, they actually correct negative camber.
