Boredom + $10 =?????

okay i was bored and had some left over chrome sticker from my r/c car project.and heres what i did with it.

to me it looked real stupid:pat:.so right after i took the pic,i immediately took it off.it just didn't look right to me:thumbsdown:

that would be because there is nothing to tie it in, the rest of the trim is black so it looks weird and out of place.... maybe some carbon fiber ones from Fabulous? I think they're the ones with the CF pieces? :shrug:

word... the results were good just out of place on your car. good call.

it would look right with some chrome door handles and bumper trim.  But nice work it looks like I couldve bought it from a website

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. With no other chrome trimming it stands out big time.

I think the most important thing here is to remember he was just messing around so there never was a threat of keeping them hahahahahaha :biggthumpup:

I've been debating this modd as well but it only looks good on some cars/colors....
Best on a black car even more so w/ chrome rims!

i got the best advice to pull that off.

if you offset the chrome vinyl a little to show the original black trip, itll be sick.

like leave a 1/4 inch margin all around.

its already off.it only stayed on my car for 3 minutes.and that was too long.
