Any Poker players?

Does anybody play poker?
I do, but i'm still learning but Poker is the shiznits!

Poker is for when you want to sit around drinking, and not making money.

Roulette and Craps are where it's at. 

I used to play poker quite a bit, but toned down a lot. Never was a tourney guy, I tried it a couple of times in Vegas, and those guys will tear you to pieces without even looking at you. Maybe it was because it was like my first tournament, and didn't start playing the small ones at the local poker house. 

Be sure to learn ALL or most of the different poker games, Not just the typical OMG Hold'em.

i tried playing hold'em at morongo and i played with all old old ladies! like 60 years and older. they know wassup! at first they were talking about their family and then when i get good hands they'll chip punk me! ahahahah im sticking to blackjack and mini baccarat

Its a 200 to 500 dollar buy-in, we have drinks, finger food, pool table and **entertainment** . Love poker, not the best at it though. LOL. Being with my boyfriend, i even find it entertaining to watch on TV haha

i got into it for a while. i played a couple local leauges (no money) and would murder everybody, but when i played for money i would always get handled. i was supposed to go to some state tournament which could have led to vegas but i was visiting the local county jail at the time.

I used to play alot of on fulltilt and it's alot of fun. I finished 1st in a bombshell poker tournament 2 years ago at hot import nights in a 100 person field.

it was my full time job for approx. 3-4 months...

used to play a lot of online poker till someone stole over 2g's from from my online account. Now that i am a student I just can't afford the risk in the live games. Buy ins are way to high for my pocket book.

DAM!! What site were you playing on ??? I've heard of people losing money from their credit cards but not from their direct bankroll online!

I have tried...I have what they say begginers luck...dont really understand the whole game but it was fun nonetheless. I recently landed a local Texas Hold Account making shirts for them..its been pretty cool they give me free items such as custom poker chips and other odds and ends..
 
I played alot of "dompe" as a kid...for you folks that never heard of it,,,its a mexican card came similar to poker but not exactly the same.
