what is the weirdest comment someone has made to you about your ride?

this is what i was asked by a little kid on a bike after i just had parked my car at work in my dress shirt, tie, and briefcase... and there's more:

[i]"your car looks like what a drug dealer or gangster would drive."[/i]

what are kids watching on tv these days? the last time i checked i have no criminal record and what i do for a living is legit ...

has anyone else here had something vaguely similar to this happen to them?

I had someone tell me that they didn't want to race me in there evo (with mods) because the sound of my car scared the sh*t out of them. He said it sounded like a Semi from hell... it made me laugh really hard (and the sound was due to the 1 foot 3inch down pipe coming off of my 60trim turbo that was shooting drops of fire.

another time on the freeway my car backfired during a shift and the side of the freeway looked like it was on fire so a guy rolled down his window to tell me my car was burning... it was great i just dropped it down a gear and took off shooting flames during every shift!

thats all i got.

How are you sitting so low on those 22's? (when I had 19" Euroline SL's :2funny:)

101N (downtown LA), typical traffic - two ladies (i think europeans) on a cadi EXT. they were pointing at my car and then i pull down my window, they've told me that my car looks very nice specially the color :smitten: love those chicks :D anyways after saying thanx they asked me if my car is made by "ROVER" and i'm like WTF :tickedoff: what makes u guys say that my car is a rover? they said it's because of my euro plates and the "WALD" emblem, i just told em' my car is a lexus ladies and left :crazy2:

Are your axles broken? (referring to -3.5 deg camber)

had a lady ask me to roll down my window and said " Hey your back tires are like / \" referring to the -6 in the rear. I told her I know it is suppose to be and she told me to be careful and that I was crazy..

i used to drive a slammed 96 Lincoln Mark VIII and i use to get asked all the time..."Is that a 2002?". everyone thought it was a new car or thought it was some strange import which usually led to the next most common comment..."damn, u rich?" or some variation.

I made my own stupidest comment. While I was trying to find a parking space in a super crowded lot, I saw a silver car amongst all the cars, and all I could really saw was a bit of the headlights from the side and I said really loudly to my wife "Man, damn, there sure are a lot of Subies around these days". When we actually passed the car, it turned out to be a Ford Lynx. I almost died...

Showed my cousin a picture of my LS and he said.. "Wow Kuya Egot styles ;D" .

i only got the "are u a drug dealer" once from a cop. he pulled me for just that reason when i was leaving my grandparents place. i was riding slammed with my wheels tucked and he pulled me asking if i had any drugs in the car. that was the 1st thing he said and then the usual liscence and registration. came back 10 minutes later and told me to have a good day.

LOL, I got stopped over in Ohio once. I was driving my Acura 3.5RL and it had a custom plate that said "INDO168" - Indo being Indonesia and 168 is just a lucky number that we have on all our car plates back home. So anyway, he stopped me, asked me to get out and said, "You know why I am stopping you?". I said, "not really". He said, "it's your plates, you know what INDO means right? It's a slang for a type of illegal narcotics around here..." 

I almost died laughing...
