are you just extending the piping (where the muffler used to be) and adding these tips?

sure, You can do it...but your car will be loud without mufflers.

If thats the route you wanna go...its a very simple proceedure. They can flair either end or just fill it while welding the tips on.

not sure how you'll like it with no mufflers at all.

i dont know if removing the muffler and doing straight pipes is the best idea because you wont have any back pressure and that mean you will get much less fuel economy but if thats not a problem for you then do it also delete your resinators as well its a cheap my to the y33 and give you a noticeable increase in hp but doesnt do alot to the sound but iam still runnin my stock muffler so if you dont have one it may be to loud

This is a perfect mod, easy for a muffler shop to do, sounds great, no loss in perf cause the Q has so much stuff going on before the single rear muffler anyhow: pre cats, cats, pre silencers and silencers still on there so the sound is on point. I love the way mine sounds and looks.

I know Zion and myself have this setup and both of us love it.

hm i am also going a custom exhaust for my GS, but was going to get it done thru a performance shop here and get high flow catalytic converter, then just straight 2.5" pipe out to 2" either side with stainless mufflers... hopefully it isnt too loud!
