U know if you buy a tranny for $500 its highly unlikely that it was rebuilt (meaning all the parts that needed to be replaced were changed for new ones). This $500 tranny you speak of is most likely USED (taken from a car in the junk yard with having a 50/50 chance of not working). I suggest you get your tranny rebuilt professionally. Why take the chance with a used tranny that might cost your more in the long run? Or I guess you can try looking up a Japanese Transmission Importer over in Florida that gives warranty on their products. Good luck.

both of those options are up in the air already, i called who i need to call and i have an appointment on friday, for a free diagnostic, to see whats actually necessary.

already got, and this is the cheapest, quote of 895 w/o electrics (if needed will cost more)
another, 1200, complete rebuild.

just tryna test my luck

oh and also need a/c compressor, mine doesn't turn on=no a/c + 100 degree sofla weather= heat stroke waiting to happen

if i could find someone to do my rebuild for 1200 i would jump on it quick. thats a deal. i have looked into this already. its not something that can be had for cheap. to start off all the parts to rebuild a tranny is 500 minimum. and then u have labor which involves removing the tranny and reinstalling it. have fun on that one. but let me kno what u find out...

the tranny is fine.

the rumbling and slippery performance is from my engine

the reason my car is running at this low level is becuase i used some bad hess gas back in march.

i pumped 93 in there and immediately after i started it up, the car started rumbling as if it was missing,

i changed the fuel filter mothers day and what a difference, it isn't completely fine but its a hella of alot better

BE AWARE HESS GAS: same thing happened to this cat i know, skyline r32 gtr.

HESS is a gas station im not sure who their sister stations might be however the color scheme of the gas station is strictly white/green

fuel filter was 8 dollars
bottle of injector cleaner 7 dollars
the car feels close to its old self again, im close, it looks like im keeping it,

i will do the transmission flush along with a differential fluid change and my oil change prolly at the same time, but as of right now im trying to source the reason as to why my a/c compressor is not turning on.

Don't do a full flush, just a drain and fill. Full flush with an older car can make your transmission run worse. Just a word of warning.
