VIP parts in PHILLIPPINES?

I'm making my trip to the Philippines for a family reunion at the end of June. My first time back in 17 long ass years. Yeah I'm effin STOKED!  I'll be mainly in the Cebu and Davao areas but I'm sure I'll hit up Manila.
I was wondering if there were any places that sold VIP related stuff! I got NADA in Montreal. It would be sick if I could pick up some rare items. Any help!?
I'll also be connecting through Hong Kong if that helps?

I would think your more likely to find better stuff in CAN than in the Phillapines!
 
To me I imagine Philla having knock/cheap copied VIP items!

i'll at least pick up some cool air freshners! LOL!

ha, im actually in the PI right now, left wednesday, arrived thursday night... im in las pinas. just awhile ago while driving home, i glanced in to a rim shop and saw, just breifly a set of rims that looked like some euroline DH's.... imma have my dads driver take me there to check it out... looked like they were silver face though... but my friends dad told me that they can replicate almost any rim out there, they just gotta have something to look at... might come back with some new/knock off set of rims.. lol

im here til the 26 of may... yester day while driving around in manila by the US embassay, we were behind a black toyota crown. newer model, not sure of the year, wasnt quick enough to whip out the camera... but yeah, if we head out that way again, imma have the driver stop by that rim shop. most times when my friends dad comes here, he returns back to the states with some rims, 15's or 16's most of the times... im always on the lookout for some car parts here, but.....

there's not much VIP parts in the phils. 
i dont think VIP even exists there yet. try to search for their local car shows and you'll see a lot of cars tuned ala fast and the furious. huge bodykits, 3 foot spoilers, vinyls and neons...:pat:

Just caught the tail end of this thread.  Too bad.  I could've toured you around the car shops in Q.C. where all the JDM parts places are at.  VIP Style isn't that big locally here in Manila.  With the way gas prices are skyrocketing everyone's going back to using their tiny econoboxes.  At any rate, if it was wheels you were after ou should have swung by Q.C..  We're got the DubShop and several places where you could have checked out some 18~24" rims.  Then there's also the old school wheel shops at downtown Manila where OG JDM rims from the 80's abound.  Some late model 17~19" VIP wheels show up from time to time for cheap.  Just gotta go back often to do some window shopping. :D

hey guys, im from qc. actually VIP is kinda gaining steam in the philippines. but i havent seen anyone with a "true VIP platform". usually accords, camrys and corollas. have you guys seen the white altis dropped on 18 inch chrome wheels? he has a junction produce sticker on his windshield and a fusa hanging from his rear view. dunno what kit hes using but its nice. aside from that guy ive seen a jazz on 17s, a kit and hes also rocking a JP sticker.

My daily ride is a 1990 GS-131 Toyota Crown Super Saloon.  That's pretty much the "purest" oldschool VIP platform you can get locally.  Big rwd 4dr sedan with a straight 6 motor.  Still waiting for some lowering springs to arrive from Osaka that I had ordered through a friend though.  Likewise holding out and saving up for that twin turbo 2JZ engine swap later on.  Gotta love it.  Gas prices may be going up, but these old land yachts just exude class every which way you look it at.  Kids with their tricked up Accords and Civics don't even come close.  True VIP platform FTW!  :D

i know there were a couple of cressidas there too. not a pure vip platform, but close enough since it was the flagship luxury sedan before the celsior came. long, low, RWD. it would make a good hybrid dori-bippu sedan there.

they probably sell for around 100-200k peso if you can get your hands on one.

SHYT i'm going back to DAVAO middle of june. I'll be on the look out  for VIP platform lol!!!

Anyhow, I heard Banawe is a good place for car parts.

im from manila. the place to go is EVANGELISTA,MAKATI, a lot of parts there than banawe now a days.

banawe still has a lots of cheap hard to find parts though!

i bought my first work wheels at banawe,forgot what store but its the biggest wheel store there. lol

banawe is the place you can find rare parts/accessories.  i was there last year and brought home 2 suitcases full of accessories.  also, in caloocan city there's this store called, miggyboy car accessories.
