my show car

Well, i know its not the vip style, but heres the pics of my grand am thats almost ready to see some shows.......The front bumper, hood, fenders, side skirts, b-pillers, trunk and spoiler are all carbon fiber. Just waiting on the air ride and 19's to make there way here.

Im waiting for all the new interior to come in, going for an all blacked out, with silver trim.  The headliner, rear speaker deck and a few of the door pieces are going to be suede, the seats will be leather two toned black and silver.........let me know what you think....

first off how come dumping money in to this car ??  , 1st car ? orrr  passed down ?  orrr just because you love it to death ?

What's your reason for joining?
Meaning- do you plan to get a VIP platform in the future or jus want to learn about the styling?
 
Your car looks alright for that fast & furious/ricer scene, but won't get much props here because it's a total different style then what's on here...
 
but I had a ford probe which was styled in that sorta theme, so I respect your modding but wait tell you learn about this style it's WAY more different and WAY more $$$$$$

welcome.......i see you have funds to put into that car...maybe u should think of gettin a v,i,p platform and make something really happen......believe me you'll fill better about yourself in the long run....but i guess it comes down to where your mind is.....but look on the bright side you have 4 doors....its a start....lol

lurk around and learn. although if you are planning to vip this pontiac, i bet youre going to get flamed. i for one dont have a true vip platform, but went in the right direction.

I agree that other passions exist and I appreciate the whole sharing thing, but you can't blame other members for posting up their thoughts as well.:shrug: BTW I respect the time and effort you put into your car, unfortunately that's pretty much it.

I have 2 gs's mine and my girls( i own it she drives it), and had my alero wich i just sold.  I had this sitting for a while and figured I would finish it to how i want it before I starte working on somthing else, i.e the gs.......
 
I choose the wing because the comany that made the kit makes the wing as well, its ment to be one package........
 
Ive yet to start anything on my gs, for the main rason that im on this site, kinda fying low and learning before I go out and start buying usless stuff for it.......as they sit now, there just plain stock once i get a full idea of how i want to go i will........

correct, they are custom made overlay's..............

not at all, we all have diffrent taste in customizing. I knew I would get the negitivity, but that didnt stop me from showing the hard work i put into a truly diffrent car........just like some platforms might not have the best of for the VIP......

LOL.  Didnt think I would ever see another Pontiac guy here.  I had a Grand Prix GTP supercharged with the same AED kit back in the day. 
 
That car had more work then my current Q.  I modified the body kit kit.  I filled in the pontiac crest on the front bumper, Cut and combined side skirts from another car to mine, and Cut and combined an Audi A6 aftermarket rear bumper to the AED rear.  Shaved/molded rear tails. SD functional ram air hood, custom made roof wing, SLP gen one spoiler, Full custom show quality system.  I also had an Audi Euro spec Hid projector retrofit back in 03, and Porsche Cyanne twin turbo exhaust tips when they came out in 04 and some more stuff.  The car was quick too.  Ran low 13's with simple bolt ons.  I really really miss it.  :sad:
 
 
Here are some pics of it back in 03-04.  Next step was going to be air and widebody to fit these 18x10, 18x13 HRE 545 stepped lip wheels that I still got but I lost interest and got a Q45.

nice, not diging the rear bumper...........so you can uderstand the amount of work that went into this body kit since there are NO AED Cabon fiber kits on the market, and what i had to do to get one made..........

Like I said, i know this isnt VIP, but it does showcase what I can do.........

man the more I look at the pics the more I appreciate the way that looks, exspecialy the line of fire for the rear lights.....

different but still nice!

why waste money on the kits and body?why not performance?i mean its a grand am you could supercharge it or something.i dont know i guess everybody gots they taste.sorry but that and ugly grand am no offense thought if you like its cool just not my taste or maybe with the bags and rims it'll change my mins.lol keep it up.

Same could be said about your 510.  He's just showing off a show car he did, showing the dedication to make a "SHOW CAR". There is a scene, built with cars just like this. Some call it ricer, but it's still a style, like any.
 
Potential and dedication is there, I look forward to seeing a good looking ride coming outta you OP.

ummmmm i didnt post anything about the performance did i........but so you know its a supercharged 3.4 running 8psi, with a borola cat back..........................

Yes, they are 9" wide each tip.  They will be going on in the winter when I do my next update

It's cool to see different cars here on VSC. The Pontiac certainly isn't VIP,
but I can appreciate the custom work that went into it. I like the hot rod/Chip Foose
three-tone paint scheme.

Just one question for you East Coasters: are there never any $ left for suspension?
I see so many cars when I'm back there what would be nice IF THEY WERE LOWERED.

Obviously there are VIP-ers on here with lowered cars, I don't mean to generalize 
all East Coasters.

And I don't want to hear "well, the roads here are shitty..."
Guess what? The roads everywhere are shitty!

Roads are certinatly not the same everywhere.  When it snows, cracks form in the ground.  Those cracks then expand and move around, lifting the ground in some areas and dropping it in others.  The Bedrock of a certain region also has something to with this as well as the drastic changes in weather.  We had snow in late April last year then a week later it was in the upper 80's :shrug:
