I can see the gold wheel centers..but that paint is most definitely green.  I'd say it's dark green which could appear black..but in that pic it is definitely deep dark green (helps hide the knockoff aero..I keeed!!).

Looks like there are a few Version select Y33's now...I thoughts you guys were so  against knockoffs......but looks like vsc members are coming around.....

I have a version select kit, but only the sides will be recognizable when its done.

people who are opposed to knock-offs for the right reasons will not change and i would think someone who has dealt with copyright infringment would "come around" and realize the truth. of course knock offs look good. their whole purpose is to duplicate sometthing desirable. the most you can say is "i don't care as long as i get mine" but then why should anyone care about you?
 
even if you cut it up and make it look completely unique like golfkid is doing the fact remains that you are supporting a thief.

The only reason folks are hoping on this kit is because it's CHEAP! The same reason most people buy fake cheap shit or sport max!

I am not supporting anything except my bank account.  Cars are not the first thing money goes towards for me anymore.  To be honest this is the first "replica" of anything I have put on a car of mine.  The quality is not what I expected, but whatever.  I had an idea for a bumper, but it was not available to buy.  I had to make it.  After looking around, I was either gonna need an aimgain bumper or an Auto Couture bumper to get close to what I wanted without completely custom doing something.  After seeing that Qclass had the Version select and the fitment on his car I realized building would be cheaper, thats just economics.  And the fact that both kits are made from the same material.....  Why the hell not.  

Its impossible to avoid supporting all thieves, you need gas to get your authentic car running too.....

Anyways, Get them pics up oscar, I am really wanting to see more of this car!

Yea its David from Touge Factory. I hear he has lots of plans for it but just threw it in the show a taste. My buddie with a NSX won JDM VIP at HIN Chicago...shows how strong the vip scene is out here.

props to you doing your thing, i personally would have done it differently. i stand by my no knock off policy. cars, clothes, shoes, watches, etc... thats just me.

Touge Factory is cool and I have purchased wheels from them.  Y33 is pretty nice.  I am not feeling the gold on green despite the fact I really like LM-9.

don't think you understood my post correctly....I am not a fan of knockoffs personally...
 
before I knew it was a knock off I did like the style...but once I knew things changed. 
 
When I said it looks like vsc members were coming around it because I have seen a few post with knock offs in the thread...even a for sale thread and nobody has said anything...just figured folks 
were looking at things different these days...
 
I have not had the energy nor time to argue or prove every point I disagree with...as I have been very busy...but when I saw this post I said to myself another one????? What happened to the VSC was not going to tolerate knock with that whole STOP THE COPY movement ???? even left up a for sale a few for sale threads with knock off parts.....
 
My plans are still with the aimgain kit when I get around to it...if its not available then It will be something else like MP.....

Green on Gold doesnt look bad at all

hunter green and the SSR wheels really set it off !!! sick !! props to the east coast.

all in all, the y33 has to be one of the most enjoyful, satisfying platforms to modify. It is just so lean, long and sleek.  The belt line from the front to the back, the way the quarter sail panels lean back....The transformation from stock to finished form is just so appealing. It totally screams JAPANESE luxury sedan. 

I don't get that feeling with my ls430 as I did with my former y33.

As much as I would like to claim this car as being from the east, I can't.  Chicago is in the mid-west.  I guess anything outside of Cali is considered the east to you guys.
 
My favorite features of the Y33 is the body line that goes across the whole car and the thick C-piller.  :biggthumpup:

I SWEAR I saw this y33 here in Modesto (norcal) a while back! Same wheels same car, but dirty, and dumped. From the looks of the paint, it could very well be the same car! it was a forest green y33...
