Looking good man, I think you should step up onto the air game though. Your coils aren't cutting it, your car would be a total show stopper (MORE than it already is) on air...

dude very nice work, that colour is luscious!
i suppose air would make it a 'show stopper' but to me its like a cop out, to drive a car constantly with that fitment and stance is cooler in my opinion than having air.

and 30 - 25 series, thats intense. i hope your roads are like pool-table smooth over there!!

If thats not VIP then im not sure what magazines you guys are getting from Japan. This car could easily be in one of them. The amount of detail in this ride is what you would find in a vip magazine feature car from Japan. Maybe its not the US version of what "vip" is but it is a very well built car.

The car looks much better now that its lower. Very nice, keep doing your thing.

Damn that car is NUTS!

And I agree with you about the air thing. I drove my car around slammed on coilovers for a while, and used to think Air Bag setups were "cheating". But I daily my car and drive really far all the time, and carry a lot of people in my car so riding low all the time wasnt cutting it for me  I HAD to switch over to air. Now I regret not doing that in the beginning lol, my undercarriage probably wouldn't be looking like Minced meat like it does now.

Man, your car on air would be GAME OVER! Someone should photoshop a pic with your car sitting on the lips  just for fun

Anyways, VERY VERY nice car sir, magazine material for sure

Thanks for the kind words... hard to believe I've owned this car for five years, and that the paint is two years old already. The only bummer is that I don't drive it as much as I'd like to - it doesn't go out in the rain and it NEVER gets valet parked. I'm basically afraid to take it most places...

The paint color is a variation of the Lexus "Specta Blue," but it's been toned a bit deeper with PPG Vibrance paint and additional "sparkle" (not flakes) added. The dark painted line on the side separates the darker tone above and the lighter tone below and matches the center section of the roof. The stripe & roof color is NightHawk Black, a midnight blue/black with blue flakes added. Unfortunately, the paint does not photograph nearly as nice as it appears in person.

The carbon fiber details are real carbon overlaid on the body kit, then masked, the surrounding areas painted, and then the entire part cleared. The car was in the body shop for ten months, but the results were well worth it.

Body kit = Explosion Japan
Roof spoiler = L-Sportline
Spoiler = Junction Produce
Third brake light = Gen 4 Supra LED

There's a lot more to this car than meets the casual glance, but I wanted a clean look.
I like this view from the rear - I see 245mm tires streched, but not many 295/25-20s on 20x11.5"

even thou your tires are touching your fender slightly, your 20s is keeping your car high. I would lower it some more to actually tuck your rears so it will camber and still be at a good ride height... but very clean GS! nice execution.

In fairness, most guys run (on the rear):
245/35-19 = 25.8" diameter
and my
295/25-20 = 25.8" diameter

The only way I can even get the car lower at this point is to go air.
I don't drive the car much, but when I do I drive the snot out of it.
It has big sway bars, TRD underchassis braces, LSD, end intake/ECU, etc.
I see an onramp marked at 35 mph, more than likely I can double that.
I'm more of a performance guy.

I have considered going Air but most guys I see with air drive higher than
me but park lower. I like the confidence of knowing how the car sits at all
times, so Air isn't really "on my radar" for this car.

Thanks! I've never 'claimed' VIP, but if you guys like it, it's all good.
I can't stop for fuel in this car without answering a million questions...
I must have done something right!

Have you seen Poyet's car on the road? He doesn't drive his as low as I drive mine.
I do like his car, though! And I hate parking next to him... :(

LOL!!!! yea I know Poyet but I've never seen him drive!

Some of the OGs 've noticed tend to ride high because for one they could care less about there ride height and for two they are being cautious and don't want to kill there tires and/or kits!

To me it sounds like an age thing! The older guys are riding high to save tire and cause they don't care about ride height.

and the younger guys like myself don't care about killing tires and try to ride as low as we can!
I dunno!

But most that I know w/ air use them like coil overs and never really use the air except for shows and obstacles....at least that's how I am

Wheel Maker huh? That explains alot! LOL!!!

Anywayz Nice car homeboy!
Hopefully I'll get to see it in person one day!

Agreed, it's partly an age thing. I'm an old white dude, for what it's worth.
Poyet is about my age, but obviously NOT white! :)

A bunch of my friends are Filipino and will say stuff like "man, your cars are
way too cool for a white boy" which I take as a compliment!

Look forward to seeing your Infiniti at a meet sometime. Always loved that
body style, if I wasn't so buried in the GS (and my MR2) I would own one for sure!
