THis peice that I was sent was lighter than the other piece that was sent first time..
I painted his shift knob...so I wanted to keep everything that I do the same...for the most part
the its a shade darker but a perfect match to this first piece that resembles most of the wood in the LS400 pics for refrence.

When evers you folks are ready hit me up....The only wood I dont like to do is two shades of the F50.....
That Orangeish wood and the Yellow Birdseye...those are very tuff wood grains and I will admit I did the best I could but was not completly satisfied and wish I could have offered them a better match....but it was close at least in the 90% range..
Now wet sand the pieces and have my bro polish them to a glass mirror finish...sets it off real nice...

Dang Rich! Technique is lookin great! Just out of curiosity, is what you charge to have these done more/less/competitive to OEM, and do you have Black Wood grain in the works?

I have done Black wood allready so yeah not a problem..
samples
As far as prices..I am most likely hella alot cheaper than OEM and anyother custom paint shop that would be able to do this.
I work out of my house and when its all done I take it to my bro to polish and buff after I wetsand.
The place he works at is TOP NOTCH paint shop...they told me I should be charging triple if not more for the work I do but I do it because I love to produce artwork whether it beeing airbrush, logos shirts etc...its all a form of art to me..Plus I dont have to pay overhead..
Look into other costs and then let me know if you think what I charge is reasonable:biggthumpup:.
Thanks!!
