New Aristo taillights that we sanded all the chrome off and then polished them back out! I think it looks cool since from far away it just looks all black, but when you get closer you can still see it reads Aristo.

Slowly but surely it's getting there....

Looks good.....but 20s are entirly too big for that car!

Can you lower it more in the front? looks weird with the wheel gap up front

Yes I can lower it more in the front but I'm already rubbing everywhere.  Only thing I'm worried about is that the wiring harness is right above the inner fender well and whenever I hit a dip in the road, the tire hits the top of the inner fender well.  So until I relocate the harness, I'm going to leave it at that height.  Might raise the back up a little to level it out.

So other than the rims being too big for the car, no more comments? lol

No doubt, your car is clean; but it's not my cup of tea.

Throw on some baller 18s or 19s w/decent stretch/camber, slam it, and then we're talking.

But at the end of the day, it's your car. You're the one that has to like it.

Your car looks great...20's look perfect with the right drop and you have that..As for the harness, remove your front wheels and remove the plastic and you actually tie up the harness higher so it wont get rubbed..I had a similar problem on my last first gen and it wasn't an issue after I tightened the harness..Now its time for a bodykit....:dance:

Agreed.  I did the same thing on my 2GS.... I no longer have fender lining, but just zip tie the harness and you should be fine.

After you tie up the harness you can still re-install the fender lining..

i think people are then inferring that having the car lowered that much will mean the tyres will scrub the lining when turning etc. so the lining can be removed or trimmed to suit clearance wise.

I think the 20's along with the drop look perfect with the car!!  The outline of the car is slightly leaner and lower than the 2GS, and compared to the that, 20's may look bigger on the 1GS, but still look great!!!!  Now if you hadn't lowered the car, that would have been an entirely different story, with an unhappy ending, heheh.
