what are you doing to your 89 supra? 1JZ swap?

I was thinking about it but then there is the 2jz which is legalin the U.S but doing a lot of research i was thinking about it, right now i have an n/a 7m its a 3L motor just like the 2j where as the 1 j is a 2.5L and not offered in the U.S so... the displacement between the 7mgTe (2954cc) and the 2jzgTe (2997cc) is like 50...so im thinking i can get the 7mgte motor a lot cheaper and upgrade the turbo and internals to hold the added boost and be some what in a power class for a lightly modified 2j or if anyone is selling one cheap with an ECU and wiring harness maybe ill consider it. i would like to just have the car around 330-400whp just enough to get up and go if i want to and still be comfortable to drive on the street.

you can usually find 7m long blocks for 700-900, then just make sure the HG is taken cars of. I had a 88 7mgte auto boosting 13-15 PSI without any problems with shimmed wastegate, open DP, and intake.
