Maybe a solution?!?!?!?!?!

Ok so really I've been looking for an answer to protecting my paint during long road trips (keep in mind I don't condone trailer queens so if you can't drive it there then don't bring it), but always feared the drastic measures of Painter's tape or the dreaded clear bras. well, in my search for something relatively easy to use and something that is safe and ECO-friendly (yeah i sorta car sometimes) I came across what seems to be to me....... the perfect solutions from the VIP gods!!!! 
 
For $50 roughly for a gallon may I introduce Peel Guard!!!!!!!!

any comments or personal experiences? please chime in cuz i'm half ready to order a gallon to test out and hopefully start using from now on!!!! :runcoold:

I've never used this stuff, but from what I've read it should work quite well at keeping the scratches from rocks, etc... off the car while going to car shows, etc...

LOL! this was the rubbery stuff they put on the bathtubs and shower walls to protect them while they were constructing my house! 

It's pretty weird stuff. I guess it would work, but I don't know if it would ruin your paint finish, it says it has : Water based, non hazardous ingredients (slight ammonia order)...you should email them and see if it would be safe for the paint. Don't you work in a body shop or something? you think you could test it on a test panel or something? 

If this works you might start a new trend! lol.

this might be a good thing for my cross country drive...

When I went to autobody school, they had some similiar liquid that was to be sprayed with a spray gun.  It made masking a car, really easy.

i don't work at a shop but i might as well and yes I can actually test very easily on a test panel for ease of use and clear coat spotting...... this is going to be awesome if it works hahahahaha :biggthumpup: now my cars will be SikNLowNWearingAJimmy hahahahahahaha :smiley-rofl:

edit:just realized it dries dark blue..thats kind of strange. i guess you can peel it off cleaner since u can see it well.

yeah i believe that was the reasoning behind why blue!!

that's exactly what i'm trying to avoid since it sux to have to spend a whole day taping it up and then remove it for the show, and tape up again before leaving. I'd rather roll on or brush on some of this stuff and be cool...... :biggthumpup:

lol it doesnt take THAT long to tape up a car.
