Feeler: Empty Maya Barrels

So here's the deal. My buddy has 19" RT5's but he wants to order new black barrels from Dazz. But they are expensive as hell. So if he could find someone who wanted his barrels then we'd pull the wheel apart and he'd ship them out and order new ones. The lips may need refinishing or painting but none are bent. The wheels are 19x8 +30 all around. If this is useful to someone shoot me a PM. I would really love to see him get some wider wheels and this would totally enable that. Thanks!

i thought you couldnt switch out the barrels since the mayas (aka trafficstar RT5) were 2piece welded :shrug:

You can pull the faces off of them.

oh, man. i want these soooooo bad, but i am contemplating my kit first, since its so expensive. may i ask how much he is parting them out for? and what color are the barrels? chrome, polish, etc.

Sorry guys these are no longer available. He acid burned his lips trying to clean them :( I think the lips are anodized because it looks like it burned it off. Now we are going to pull them apart and paint the barrel's black. Does anyone have a maya wheel key I can buy/borrow?

yeah, that sucks. call up dazz, i know they are the main distributors for maya i think.
