350z rear wheel fitment?

Hi im not a 350z owner but my friend who works with me is. He has a brand new 350z that he was interested in getting wheels for.  I am thinking about swapping my rears on my acura tl to 20s now so he has shown interest in my existing rear wheels.

They are 19x9 -4mm ultra low disc work vsxx's.  I am curious as to if anyone has run anything close to this fitment on a 350z rear and if they will work?  I realize they are not wider like most run on 350s but hes still interested and 9 is not too bad. 


I realize that "sure they fit, make the wheels fit the car", (since i will be running a -27mm 20x9 rear on a friggin fwd acura tl with stock fenders and make the wheels fit on a daily basis), but this guy is not looking to roll his fenders and fabricate shit on a brand new off the lot car with 7 miles on it.

Any imput would be appreciated.

Wow...you're running a negative offset on a TL?  Pics please....  (sorry this didn't answer your question  =)   )

Ive seen 19x10 +11s on a 350z also. so i figured dude could make these -4s work. My 225s are toasted on them anyhow so rather than buy new tires, id rather just sell them now and get 20x9 -22mm offset ultra low disc to up the anti as far as the way it looks. I can adjust every component of the rear though, its all fabricated out of like

Isnt that an RL or am i just that out of it this morning.  They will not be that aggressive on a 350 though.

well i realize they wont be as wide, but as far as lip size and where the lip will set id assume they will work and look good.  i mean they have a nearly 4 inch lip right now.

It will fit and look good, but the 350s have very big fenders that can eat up a much bigger wheel.  Just make sure he runs no camber.

This guy is not the kinda person who wants -12 degrees and pulled fenders. Id assume he can just use these and instead of my 225 35 run like a wider tire perhaps.

-12 degrees is a lot of camber man....  But almost any camber with these beauties and it will take away from the flushness.  Cant wait  to see them 20s on the TL though.  It was just the kit and the dark headlights that was throwing me off.

350z's SUCK because they can take SUCH a wide wheel, with HUGE lips, and act like they are stock wheels. Assholes!

Tell your friend to go with a 19x12, 0 offset wheel. should fit pefect. LOL! I don't know for sure, but I'd assume something around there.

Yes, they'll fit the rear of a Z, but IMO that's more of an aggressive front wheel than a decent rear fitment. I mean, it'd be relatively flush, but your tire sizes, and your lip size to a certain extent would be weak. Your 19x9 -4 pokes 10mm more than the front wheels I posted (good), and tucks 13mm more than the rears (not so good).

Well if those worked on your car with a +12, 9.5 front, these -4 ,9 inchers will work fine.

Dont look forward too much to much more on that tl besides paint and bodywork. Ive lost alot of interest in it. Even with a fully built motor and race car suspension, its still boring as shit and not interesting driving around white knuckled hoping i dont tear it up.  Im a speed junkie, and anymore  i need something with at least 500 pounds of torque to keep me entertained.
