Tire Fitment Suggesion For 93 G50

Im trying to go 18x8.5-9F/18.9.5R.What tire size would best fit and look good on these size rims?I don't want a supper agressive stetch just a mild/perfect type.

I'm also wanting 19x9F/19x10.5R.What tire size would best fit and look good on these size rims?I don't want a supper agressive stetch just a mild/perfect type.

I got a white 93 G50, i wanted 18's because it could sit lower and more plush, well in my opionion really haven't seen any.

Would it sit better on 19's or 18's?Tire brands would help also.

Thanks.

with 18s and tucking you dont have much ground clearance, you can tuck 19s with more clearance. Depends on suspension too, if youre running springs you dont have to worry about ground clearance so much, but youll have a bigger gap on 18s vs 19s.

he was able to tuck a little tire all around. At that height with 19s in 225/35 and 235/35 youll have a little more ground clearance in the front with the fender closer to rim and about the same clearance in the back with rim closer to fender.

btw, tire "tuck" is tire going past the fender line tucking in the well, wheel "tuck" is wheel past the fender line tuckin the in wheel well if that makes sense.

go with 19s. falken/toyo tires stretch well.

for the 19s, i'd probably go with a 225/235 for a mild stretch.

I know where it's at.I'll proably go with some Z32/300ZX Suspension or springs and Tokico Shocks/Struts.Once i the suspension i'll see how low it gets.

My cousin says i should get the rims first then see hwo low i want to go.I've search for suspension on G50 already found nothing.Maybe im putting the wrong words in.

It should be the other way around. Get suspension first so you can see exactly how much wheel clearance youll have and can dial in suspension/ mod fenders/ and stretch tires accordingly. Id go for z32 coilovers, dont waste time on springs that dont go low enough.

That's what i was thinking.I want to go Z32 all around.I was wondering about the Ebay Coilovers which i hear are sleeve over coil overs or something. All i could find was people who havn't experience them before and just call them bad quality.Just because it's Ebay it doesn't mean it's trash member that maybe a hustle but not trash because alot of people still buy it.

The coilovers would be another 300-1k used or not.Well i guess it's worth it but get at me on the ebay coilovers. If you know anybody that has had experience with it and i want proof.:thelaw:

Thanks.

P.S.I already know you get what you pay for and not to go cheap but sometimes cheap things last longer than expensive ones. Rarely.

Yeah, in person my car isn't this nice.

My tires are take-off bridgestone re050's. Remember, different tires will fit/stretch differently. Even if they are the same numeric size, different brands will yield different results.

Looks nice.I read up you have Z32 Oem struts? Were they worth it?Think the rear OEM would work in the rear?

I stay in Antioch and trust me not a damn VIP whip here.I'll be the first, all you see here it Scrappers, Scrappers, and more Scrappers.:pat:
That's what i was going to get before i just said it's not worth it.Hopefully i get Z32 all around so i see my clearance options. Then my 18's.

Ebay sleeve coilovers like dropzone or arospeed or whatever will be worse then a good set of springs quality wise. Look for 2way fully adjustable coilovers like tein flex or even megans are not so bad if you wanna be cheap. I recently rode in a gs430 with bc coilovers (taiwan) and it was a lot better then I thought it would be and handles well. Not sure about durability but we'll see how that goes. Theres so many options for z32 coilovers its rediculous. IIRC damicci runs z32 megans on his g50, maybe he can chime in. You can be cheap, but being too cheap reflects on your overall build. In this game its easy to spot a cheap build vs a build with quality parts.

I think you need to not cheap out on your car. Those fake coilovers are cheap, and don't even fit your car correctly. Ron isn't hating on you, he's actually been trying to help you, but you are either misreading his posts, or just not caring what he is saying.

First off, what rims are you looking at getting?

Second. Rule of thumb is, suspension first, wheels second, and then later on do paint and body work etc etc.

Look for your suspension first. From your numerous other posts, it seems you don't have a job, which is why you are trying to find stuff as cheap as possible.

That's not a bad way to go about things, but even then there's a right and a wrong with with being cheap. Try to look on some 300ZX forums for some used coilovers. Maybe even on this forum. Some can be had as low as $500 for them.

Then get your wheels later, and worry about the tires after you get your wheels. G50's, as well as many other nissans, take low offset wheels very well.

The fact that you are not posting an offset, tells me that you are looking at some cheap wheels, which only come in posted sizes. That's not a bad thing depending on what wheels they are.

Post this information up, then we'll go from there.

Well most post i read from Ron were just straight up BS.I understand how there's alot of people here not using search engine and yea im one of them but it's because whatever i search, it doesnt show any topics about it.I blame myself on that maybe im lazy.

I want some 18.9F/18.10.5R SSR Vienna's I think that's how you spell them?Well i offset i dont know anything about that's where i'll do my research on since you asked.I know these are expensive so therefore i will be saving money for them.

The coilovers i knew were fake, all i really wanted to know was are they bad or anything like that, not just they suck dont buy from ebay. Thanks for letting me know and that's proably what i'll be doing buying used coilovers.

Im going to end up buying the suspension first anyways so i'll keep you guys posted. This is my summer project so i'm just seeing what to get first and yea i maybe going cheap but it's because.........I don't know really maybe a hispanic thing?

Post this information up, then we'll go from there.[/quote]

Just look for some coilovers. Even some D2 or Megan Racing since you are on Ebay shopping for coilovers. Don't get k-sport as they don't go low enough.

ksport is not that good. Im not sure where you found that out. Ive ran their coilovers on a previous car and was not impressed, but for 700 bucks you cant really complain.

Oh well im not talking about the coilovers right now.I was talking about the multilinks, but i guess that what you were also tlaking about.Well i mean thier coilovers are more than 1k.I got the 2008 Product Catalog.

Well i'll just take your advise buy used ones or megan racing/D2 ones.

Can s14 coilovers or front pillow tension rods, lower toe arm, upper control arm fit the Q45?Can s13 parts fit?
I remember somebody telling s14 suspension or multilinks fit.
