Front strutbearing on UAS?

Okay so I just took my car into the shop because I had some wierd noise, they said that the two front bearings were shattered on the upper part of the strut.  Any idea how this could have happened?

UAS bags are a lot stiffer than the factory springs and do not rest in the exact fashion that the factory springs do.  This causes unnecessary stress on it in a lot of ways.  Probably the reason, but also could have been from not the most careful installation.

maybe they impacted the strut on too tight?

didnt this car wreck not long ago as well?

Why not get new struts then? 

Where are there bearings on the strut? that's what confuses me lol.

It's right on the top of the strut like right above the bag.  It's kinda hard for me to explain because I really have no idea what it is.

if its what i'm thinking of then its the non-oem bearing add on uas includes. issues could be that it simply didnt fit right or that it binded somhow. i'm not 100% since i didn't use it.

Ah I see now. I didn't know the Q45 needed that suspension piece.  Anybody else have it? Maybe golfkid777 can chime in about it.
