Soon To Be VIP Styled...

I've Been Lurking here for a minute, AND I love the look of a proper VIP car...BUT I have an 06 Acura TL. Anyways, the goal is to get the closest to VIP styled possible with the car Im workin' with.

Any comments & or idea's are welcome...I have a mod list of things I'd eventually like to do...

thats a very nice looking tl already

alot of people will tell u thats not a good car to VIP cause the lines are so sharp etc but drop it on bags and get some sick vip wheels and u ll be vipstyled, what part of NY u from?

the white on gold looks sick, and it almost matches the amber in your headlights in the front. slam that thing, and throw on a nice kit and it'll be looking serious.

Welcome sort of..... but yeah I personally like the new TL's but the sportiness of them make them very difficult to execute with VIPstyling. I didn't say it wasn't possible just harder, my suggestions would be to work on your fitment and stance first then move on to working on those body mods that will tone the sportiness down to a more sublime look via a subtle lip kit or full on kit. :biggthumpup:

just look around and you'll find a few VIP inspired TLs on here, so your goal isn't impossible. also, i agree with the post above^. FITMENT AND STANCE WILL MAKE A CAR.

Looking good, I have an '06 TSX I know what you mean my car  is similar. Ex New Yorker here from the Bronx now in Kissimmee Florida.

Thank You! I think if I stick to true VIP form, even though I dont have a platforn car I can come pretty close to VIP style...I hope :dunno:

Im already running 20x9.5 front & back...could've gone a lil more aggressive...BUT I may try getting air before ordering new whels!

.. and if looking into air i know we have alot of vendors offering it up at a great price .. also .. I would look into 19s?  seem like even if you bag it will have some gap under there and what are your current plans for the car ?

going with the sportier car will be little harder to achieve the Vipstlyed look but , I am sure we have some on the site alrdy , maybe they can jump in

that TL is ridiculous!

that second tl posted has mucho better fitment, Id focus on that and stance if vipstyle is your goal.  I agree with sik the sportiness will have to be toned down, Id go with some widerfaced wheels to help with that too.

hey mami.... hahahahahah (that's weird saying that and knowing it's not directed at my fiance hahahahaha) going with the air ride first would be a great step towards acheiving your goal, look into contacting some of our vendors like Bippu Couture, Auto Fashion, etc. they all carry kits and would be more than willing to help you get to your goal! :biggthumpup:

I've seen that TL!!! pure Sex...I had been thinking bout 19's again...Ive already got the wheels i like :(

I heard a lot of VIP heads roll super low on coil overs too...I'm gonna see If I adjust my coil overs to see just how low I can get. Def. gonna need to have more camber. IF and WHEN I do decide to do air then I'll have to see what wheels I decide on. I got a lot of respect bein a chick rollin' on 20's (i think!) SO like I said...I'm not trying to change the wheels & get air JUST YET...but I will be adjusting height & stance a bit.

as for the bodykit....there wasn't much available for the TL...so I went with the OEM lip kit minus the trunk spoiler....when the type-s fatty deck lid spoiler came out...I jumped on that. & the roof spoiler was recently installed.

I've heard that most VIP dudes don't concentrate on performance either so I have some performance mods in mind...but I'm not looking for serious gains in the speed dept. slow & low.

ICE makes a car a show car...I just don't want a lot of crap in my trunk wasting space where I could have put my latest shopping bags! ((after all I'm still a chick))

AND lastly...I'd like puddle lights, curtains, pillows, & some kind of tables if I could find CF  (that matches Acura's fake CF) tables...Or I might change out all the interior accents to black wood accents or something :shrug: it'll need something to pull the whole VIP look together.

Thing is...I really like my car...a true platform car, maybe in the future. for now, I'll try to stick to VIP style on the TL :shrug:
