New Guy from Atlanta

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to say hello, you guys have a nice website here, I'd likely have a very lost route in my pursuit of VIP Status without it. I am a college student at GA State University and currently I am behind the wheel of a 92 Accord with a good bit of work to it. My previous rides were another 92 Accord (bone stock and great mileage haha) and my beastly 92 Prelude (made 180whp with just i/h/e and was a hell of a mtn carver).  My current Accord is just a temp car that I bought to make a quick buck on, should be outta my hands in a few weeks. I have begun looking into this more grown up, relaxed scene and will likely be purchasing a LS400 soon. I will attach some pictures of my Accord to this post and a picture or two of some LS400's that I like.

Anyone got any pointers for me? Where to locate a nice set of wheels at a good price? Where to go for an air-suspension? Perhaps a cost v benefit argument for coil-overs v bags (remember I am a college student so money is tight). The car will be my daily driver and I go into downtown a lot with its potholes and horrid roads. :signdammit:  Perhaps ppl would be kind enough to post up some LS4's for my inspiration haha.

hey man wats up? i am also in the atlanta area me and my friend aftermathacura are trying to bring some vip style to the atl so when you get your LS hook up with us we are trying to get something started with likeminded guys and gals in the area but its kinda hard right now beacause we are right in the middle of donk central and a lot of people here are still heavy in the tuner scene, oh and BTW welcome to VSC:biggthumpup:

Don't get me wrong, I love the tuner scene, its where my heart lies..in that adrenaline rush of a highway pull or a mountain run . IMO, VIP (Styled) cars are still tuner cars. I want to progress in my life as a tuner. (Sounds corny but thats how I look at it, I did plenty of speed already, got plenty of tickets with that haha, I just want to relax and have a nice VIP car for the rest of college to go out in and lug the ladies around) Hell, I might choose an SC300 or GS300 as my VIP project solely based on the fact that I can NA-T them and have my speed game taken care of.

oh dont get me wrong either i have nothing against the tuner scene either i used to have a civic back in da day that i used to work on but now that i have gotten a little older i prefer something lux and low but still got some power under the hood (V8) so its all good, plus the ladies like to ride in luxury=)

you can modify an ls to have performance too, check out lextreme.com, theres a WEALTH of info on there about the 1uz.

i drive a 99 Q45 or a Y33 i am in the process of making in a vip ride just waiting on some parts and getting my money right so i can get some bags and another set of wheels
