Tomato: still eat them?

For those that don't mind eating tomatos, have you been eating them since the scare?  I went to Grand Lux today for lunch and before I placed my order, the waitress said that any dish that comes with tomatos will not be served with tomatos due to the scare.  So I order their tuna sandwich that came with a salad.  Another chick comes out with our dishes and I counted 12 half cut cherry tomatos LOL :pat:

I had a thick slice in my Superstar from Carl's Jr. I threw the tomato out... regardless my burger was probably already infested with salmonella. :shrug:

Cherry tomato's are safe.

I had some round regular tomatos the other day and I have yet to die..... so.....

I had fresh salsa with my Carne Asada burrito I had yesterday.  Bleh, I need my salsa!  if they banned avocados, I won't know what to do, I need my Guac!

cherry, grape, and the small ones are okay, its the big ones you need to worry about, like romas and whatnot.

tomatos suck!

I ate some cherry tomatoes the other day and was like OH SNAP

Then I was like... wait.. cherry tomatoes too? Shit whatever

I heard that as long as they are "vine" grown they are safe...so that makes any of our new lab tomatoes bad? lol.

and there is nothing better than a FRESH straight from the garden kentuckiana tomato with a lil salt and pepper on it.
