Suspension fitment

Is there any different between stock air suspension and regular one for 98-00 lexus ls400?

as in what? i know there is a big price difference..... if one of those air shocks for an ls go bad...... might as well bag it

as in coilover my air shock still good. i just wanna get coilover now and turn it to bag later
