2nd Gen GS Fitment

ok so, i'm about to get some new wheels and i need some opinions on which way to go, considering sizing, offset, and price. also, i need opinions on what tire sizes to go with along with it will take fit them on my 2nd Gen GS300.
 
Here are the two options os far.

19x8.5 +30
19x10 +37
$1600 (+money for spacers)

20x8.5 +25
20x10.5 +25

19's are a perfect fit (height wise) for the GS. I'd go for the 19's.

yah, but the offsets are too conservative, and with the money for the wheels plus spacers i can get the 20s. Plus since the 20s have lower offsets, it will have more lip to it. But, will i have problems running the 10.5j on the rear with a +25 offset?

Although the 19's has a conservative offset,the 20's will look too bigg on your car.especially since you don't have a body kit to give it the slammed look.or is that in the plans also?and considering you're on a budget,are new wheels not an option to get the right offsets you want?
I vote for 19's with spacers.

You can fit the 10.5 +25 in the rear if you want to. That is, with camber, stretch, shaved fenders.

If you really want these wheels, keep looking for something that will fit better. 

Stick with 19's, they work better with the 2nd gen, look perfect with a good offset. 20's are too big if you don't have a kit, and even with a kit, you won't be able to go low enough due to wheel clearance.

I'd go for the 20s based on the look and the offset.

Nobody has ever said that 20s are too big on my car.
As long as the stance is right you can totally get away with it.

I've been saying "20s are the new 19s" for over a year and a half now.
Go with a short tire like 225/30-20 + 255/30-20 to complete the look and
get a bit of stretch. 

BTW, a 20x8.5 +25 could easily use a 10mm spacer on the 2GS.

19s are cool, but have been done to death, IMO.

^exactly what i'm thinking. btw, your car and j. trans white GS, in import tuner, is what is pushing me to go for it.
