To chrome,or not to chrome......pt.2

i need some opinions.im thinking about sending out my door window trims to be chromed.do you think it'll look good?heres a pic to show what im talking about.

thats exactly how my car is gonna look,except with a Junction Produce kit and blacked out windows.im even thinking about adding the chrome trim on the body line like 2nd gen GS's.let me know what ya think.shootz

i'm not a huge fan of 1st gens but the ones that do catch my eye are usually the dark monochrome sportier ones. i say nay.

Oh and about the window trims,I wanna do it but I'm waiting to see if my uncles friends shop can do it.so we'll see.

if it is a dark color I say go for it like the first pic and only if you have more chrome in the car... on other colors like silver or white... it just doesent look that great...

go for it. i think underneath that window trim is already polish. so just strip that paint thats covering it. i dont think you would need to send it out to get chromed. but i could be wrong. dont hurt to try, just scratch a little bit of the trim, see if if is polished underneath it.

nah,thats seems like a really big area to have chromed.cancel!

as for the window trims,I will have it done.eventually.probally before the year ends.

You were right man.I tried stripping the paint off today.I posted them on my build thread.thanks for the idea.
