What to look for when buying a LS430

it is way to hard for me to find a 05 q45 blk/blk with prem. pkg.  so now i must resort and conform, and buy a LS430.

looking to buy a 2001-2005 LS430 blk/blk with Ultra Luxury package.


-is there any website that defines all the the details and differences between the years?
-what exactly is included in the UL pkg?
-what would be the best years to buy, and why. 
-what are the differences between each year?

can you swap 04-05 tailights with 01-03?

concerning vip body kits:

does it matter which year you have? are the bumpers a straight swap?

what are the factory warranties?

Look for keys

if i remember correctly the 04+ also has an extra cog in the transmission, correct? (5sp versus 6sp)

yea, his car is really nice, but out of my range.

Another thing to look for to know if its a UL is there will be little square 'patches' in front of the headlights on the front bumper cover.  These are where the headlight squirters are underneath.  


BTW, since when is Gato selling his LS???

UL will also include navigation, dynamic cruise control. auto levelling headlights, head light washers, and mark levinson sound system, and a smaller trunk due to to rear air and cooelr box.
