question about S14 springs in the Q

I know the S14 springs have been done etc,etc.  I need info specific to S-Techs.  Has anyone here used the Tein S-techs for an S14 on their Y33 yet?  if so, please let me know who, so I can speak with them.  I have a set from my old S chassis and I need to do suspension as my rears are blown.  I was thinking about just picking up some KYB specials and these. Thank you for any help anyone can provide.

I would assume the stechs are a bit soft for the q, do some research on s14 springs and choose a stiffer one that would be my suggestion

When i ordered my S tech for a "Y33". They ask me to choose between 2 different stiffness, which i chosen the stiffest one. I picked them up last year and still brand new in box. hahahah anyways I'll get back at you on the PM  BURGY

The s14 eibachs are hard hitters in the front. the rear aint a problem. Its the set up I have. or had. car is totaled now :pat:

the S14 tanabe's didn't fit my Q. The front spring was too small. Duno how other people got their S14 springs to fit.

^ yet your trying to sell them as springs that will fit?  I'm trying to get coils, but if all else fails I'll be going with this type set up...

they will fit, but not factory in the front.

I think someone needs to post a pic of what a proper fitting S14 spring will look like on Q strut.  Front and back.  I have heard S14 springs do not fit, but people do it.  Perhaps they are rigging them up to work.

sup fellahs, the S14 springs does fit but it rode like shit...my 98' stock struts had probs so maybe that might have attributed to the stiffness (lol). a short-lived attempt at a cheap drop rendered me to order the air-runners. but nah, for the price, it's a very good (temp) alternative. good luck!  vr, mikey
