To be fair, it's not easy for a race car driver in an open cockpit car to see what's going on behind him, and when you're instructed to follow the right front tire mans guidance, he signals the driver to go, you go. In those situations, it's the tire mans fault for telling his driver to go.

In 1994, the Benetton F1 team had a much, much worse pit fire, it's cool, no one was seriously hurt either.
